Third person P.O.V

When Yujin hung out with Mark, it was okay, it was more than fine. Yugyeom knew there was nothing he could do to hurt her, and she would do nothing to hurt either of them. When those two were together, he could trust Mark to take care of her like a best friend, almost as a sister, he had nothing to worry about. They each trusted each other with more than their life. When Yujin was with Eunmi, the only thing he had to worry about was the two getting in trouble for being too loud. Those girls were quiet when alone, but together they never stopped causing trouble. Yugyeom thought it was cute, to see two people know each other so well that they could practically read each others minds. Of course neither of them would hurt each other, and if anyone dared try and hurt one of them, it would end with a lot of cursing. But that was okay, they were okay. When Yujin, on the rare occasion went to go meet up with Nana, that was also okay. Since Nana went nowhere without her beloved Minsoo, there was always a gentleman with the two girls. Not like it mattered, since Yujin was someone that wouldn't hesitate about kicking a creepy guy in the stomach and running away. But with Minsoo with them, Yugyeom didn't have to worry about Nana suddenly plotting to kill his girlfriend like back in the day. Minsoo was a good person, he did nothing wrong, and always apologized if it was almost wrong. So Yugyeom had nothing to worry about, it was okay.
Just one thing, one person was driving him insane.
Jaebum was this person, because when Yujin was with Jaebum, she barely spoke of what they did. What time she even told him it was a secret. A secret? What could she be hiding with Jaebum?
Yugyeom never did like him, especially after the incident. But what is the incident? They never spoke about it after the fight, after what happened to Yugyeom and his family. He had already lost his father, and then a few months later Jaebum created more of a fuss. So it was fair enough to say he hated him. Though his precious Yujin loved him, and he knew the two had a special connection, because they could easily get swept away in each others presence. But at the same time, this connection was fatal. If he said one bad thing about Jaebum, Yujin would be mad and demand to know what he had against him, but you should not dig up the past.
Yugyeom sat in his home, with the one other person that knew of the incident. It was Jinyoung, who was quite close to Jaebum. They were sitting on the sofa, talking among themselves about their girlfriends, it helped that they were both stressed about them. Jinyoung hated the thought of Eunmi leaving him again, to leave the country and leave him alone and cold like she did already. Yugyeom was so worried Jaebum would hurt his girlfriend, hurt the girl he loved so much. He himself knew he hurt her in the past, but this was now, and the past was gone. Though some people don't change, and he thought Jaebum was scum.
"Yugyeom, you can't keep this a secret forever." Spoke Jinyoung, who was leaning back into the a cushion on the couch, his eyes wavering over to him. Yugyeom rubbed the back of his neck anxiously, because it was true, he couldn't keep secrets from Yujin. But this secret was something that could potentially break them up, and he knew she would have a hard time with dealing with that. He didn't want her to get hurt, because he was trying to protect her in the first place. Licking at his lips, the younger leaned back against the arm of the chair and shook his head.
"I know I can't keep this, but how do I tell her?"
Jinyoung paused, looking at him as if to acknowledge his question. He too guessed it would be difficult, so the tension between the two men went further. Now it was silent, and it was like they were hiding from the truth. Though, it was not Jinyoung's' place to say it, but he needed to.
"If you didn't hide it in the first place, we wouldn't be in this situation."
Yugyeom's jaw slightly tightened, and he gave him a short glare. It caused his stomach to tense, and his hands moved into fists quickly. He hated the fact he acted so high above him, just because he was at an advantage, he was acting like he had never done anything wrong.
"You know, you aren't exactly the most truthful person either. So can you shut up? If I didn't hide this, I wouldn't be a relationship with her. And that would kill me so, just." Breathing out softly, Yugyeom shook his head, closing his eyes. He really didn't want to fight with him, but he had to raise his voice for him to listen.
"You still have to tell her." Jinyoung spoke from his spot, gently moving himself and standing. Running his fingers through his hair, he sighed and stood up straight. He knew Yugyeom wouldn't be happy with him, so he prepared for the explosion.
Yugyeom then stood up, his eyes narrowing at his friend, he hated the tone he used. Biting hard at his bottom lip, he couldn't keep the feelings down and he grunted.
"What the fuck am I supposed to say Jinyoung?" His voice was loud as he stared at his friend, his eyes burning into his without a care. He needed to get this out, he didn't care because this was slowly ruining his life. So he said it, and he didn't restrict himself. "What do I tell her?!" Shouting, yelling, he didn't hold himself back at his point.
"The only reason I dated you is so Jaebum can't hurt you?!"
Jinyoung's eyes widened, not at the sentence, but at the door being pushed open slowly, and the girl appearing behind it.
"Is that true?" Yujin whispered.
