alex's pov

i watched as y/n walked out of the room. they'd never called me by my full first name, it was usually alex or lexi. if they're being that serious, maybe i should take their advice.

wait, no, that's crazy! i've come this far, nothing's gonna stop me from killing those evil bastards. not even my own subconscious or the person i love.

where's y/n even going? there's not a lot of places to go in an underground base. oh well. i'll just go check if anyone needs any killing jobs.

you felt frustrated after your argument with alex. "why couldn't he listen?" you thought.

you were sat down in a different room. you sat there, still angry about what had happened. and it showed. puffy came up to you, wondering why you were so down.

"what happened to you? here, have a drink." she says, handing you a soda can.

"thanks. i got in a little arguement with alex." you answered.

   "yikes, what about?" she questioned.

"i'm not sure if i'm supposed to tell you this, so i won't. but, he's been having problems listening to himself." you say, opening the can.

"and what does that mean?" puffy asked.

"so, let's say someone he trusted died. now, before they died, they asked him to do something, something he doesn't really want to do. but, he does it anyway." you explained, taking a sip of the drink.

"so then, he should just not do it. after all, the person's dead." puffy says, sipping on her drink.

"yeah, that's what i'm saying! so i keep on trying to tell him to quit what he's doing but he just won't listen." you tell her.

"that must be annoying, sorry about that." she said.

"yeah, thank you. you know, this happened to me a few months back. except it was with karl. i told both of them what they should do, but they refused to listen to me." you reminisced.

you sighed, resting your cheek in your hand. "i'm just sick of not being listened to, puffy. i want the best for my friends, but it hurts when they ignore me."

you took the pic a sip of your drink once again. it wasn't alcoholic, but it and puffy somehow distracted you. you continued to vent to her, and she listened to every single word you had to say.

alexs pov

as i'm walking through the place, i hear a voice in one of the rooms. it's y/n's voice. i couldn't help but listen in to their conversation.

from outside the door i faintly hear their voice say, "i'm just sick of not being listened to, puffy. i want the best for my friends, but it hurts when they ignore me."

i didn't need to hear any more after that. i knew they were talking about our arguement earlier. i feel bad, and they're right. but i still have unfinished business to do.

y/n and i should go move places now. it's best if we're out of that house as soon as possible. i don't wanna risk them getting hurt because of me.
