"The number one hero," Touya laughs. "Who knew he'd hit his wife and children? I sure didn't. I looked up to the big guy, thinking he was all that." His eyes go dark and he glowers at the camera. "And then he became abusive. I wasn't ever enough for him. He worked me hours on end, to be better, to surpass him. He never batted an eye at his kids, never once listened to us talk. He kept Shoto away from me because I was a bad influence, because I was trying to protect him!" He paces, dragging a hand through his hair.
"No," Endeavor sputters. "He's lying."
"Oh, lying? How could I lie?' Touya laughs, shaking with rage. "Shoto, am I lying?" He shakes his head, glowering at his father. "Of course I'm not. You know why? Because, the past never dies!"
Shigaraki and Kurogiri come stand near you, Shiggy tense and still confused with your actions, but willing to listen to what you have to say. But for the meantime, you merely stand and watch as the Todoroki brothers expose their bastard of a father.
"You tore my life away, induced years of trauma onto everyone in your life, killed the love of my life's parents and got away with it, and continued to lie to the public. You never deserve the number one spot. It's pathetic that you think you do."
"I'm sorry," he gasps, weak, oh so weak. He barely moves, his eyes fluttering shut, but not for death, no, for pain, for a moment to rest. "I'm sorry."
"Are you?" Everyone's eyes fall on Todoroki, who shakes his head, frowning. "How many times are you going to say that and not mean it? You've told mom over and over. Yet, you hit her again. You tell me over and over. And yet, I still disappoint. You say you're sorry but you don't mean it." He glowers, his left side smoking, his right freezing. "Save your breath. It's a waste."
Touya beams with a proud smile, laughing as he does. "He's right. Quit trying to convince us. You had your chance the second you became a father. If you didn't want kids, you should've kept it in your pants."
You choke, shaking your head with a smile. God, you love that man.
"Endeavor, Endeavor, Endeavor, Endeavor," you tsk, striding your way softly to Touya. He tucks you softly into his side, pressing his lips to your forehead. "You're the reason I hate heroes. How can people love you when all you do is throw them aside to get what you want? You threw your children aside. Your children, Endeavor. How can you do that?"
"Actions have consequences, Dad. It's time you paid for your sins," Touya spits.
With that, Touya sets fire to the building. Todoroki helps too, their flames mixing to create a malicious purple that coats everyone's features. You grin, watching them work together, laughing the entire way.
Kurogiri opens a portal, letting Shigaraki step through first. Todoroki goes next, but before you allow yourself to, you make your way to the three pro heroes left. All Might silently cries, and your heart shatters as you watch. Aizawa seems to be trying to decide between right and wrong and Hawks, well Hawks looks defeated. You release All Might first, then Aizawa, and lastly Hawks. Your eyes stay on the ground as you step back and bow slightly.
"Thank you," is all you say.
Touya takes your hand, and guides you through the warp gate which leads you to the secluded home Touya had purchased for the League. He used cash so they couldn't trace the card back here, leaving the League to be hidden from the heroes.
You sigh, slumping against Touya's body as you rest a hand on your stomach.
"Y/n," he says.
"Hm?"
"You're stomach."
You wince. "Is it bad?"
He shakes his head, frowning. He puts his hands on your waist and pushes you out to look at you better, his eye brows furrowed. "It's. . . It's just a scar."
A. . . what? You look down, pressing your fingers on the light scar, the scar that mimics the one on your neck. You shake your head, trying to understand. You've never been able to heal yourself. Ever. So why now? Why did it work now, when you weren't even trying?
"When you were attacked," Touya starts, his thumb grazing over your scar. "By the villain. What happened to him after. Do you remember?"
At first, you shake your head. But then, you pause to think. It was a blur that day, and you mostly remembered how the heroes were more upset than worried about you, but looking back, you do remember how the villain was after.
He was weak. Oh so weak. He was mumbling to himself, coughing, hacking. He was like. . .
He was like Endeavor.
"Touya," you say.
"I think I know how you can heal yourself, Mouse."
You laugh, shaking your head in shock. He smiles, his arms immediately encircling your waist and spinning you around in his arms. He holds you so tightly, probably from the fear that he almost lost you, if it weren't for your quirk.
You almost feel at peace. To think, all the work finally led up to this moment, the moment you get to kiss Touya's lips and hold him and let him tell you how much he just adores you in his flames just puts you at peace. So much so, that as you check the rest of the League and make sure they're all okay, and you catch a glimpse of his smile, you falter, not wanting anything else than to be with him.
After helping the League, you pull Kurogiri and Touya aside to talk to them.
"I know we're villains, but, I can't live knowing innocent people were hurt out there. They didn't deserve it. You know this."
Touya nods, rubbing his jaw. "She's right."
"Is it okay if we just go stake out and heal the ones who need it most?"
Shiggy must've overheard because he interjects before Touya or Kurogiri could respond. "Why do you want to protect them so much?"
"It's not that I'm protecting them. I just don't think hurting them is the right thing to do. You can still be villains trying to fix the hero program without hurting those who have no voice in it."
"They pick the heroes side every time."
"Because they've been conditioned to the think villains are always going to the be bad guys." You reach out to him, holding his gloved hand. "You're not a bad guy. You're trying to do the right thing. The hero system is corrupt and the people can't see it, so you took it into your own hands to try and fix that problem. Sometimes the villains are better than the heroes."
He softens, shaking his head. "You're right," he says softly. "Go. Go heal them. But bring Touya with you. I don't want you alone."
"As if I'd even let her go alone. Let's go, love."
He takes your hand and leads you through, bringing the two of you onto the top of a building. He holds you tightly as you sit on the ledge and focus on healing anyone around you who needs it. His presence warms you, and you bask in the comfort it brings. After a long, stressful day, the adrenaline is slowly leaving, and you want nothing more than to curl up in his arms and sleep for hours on end.
Years. You spent years alone. Years crying for someone, somebody to save you from the pit of despair that you were drowning in. You were trapped, the suffocating hands of depression and fear keeping you from finding that way out yourself. But Touya. God, Touya pulled you out. He fought of your demons, sheilding you from the pain that was placed on your shoulders. And in return, you leant him a support to lean on, to depend on. You showed him what love really was. You showed him that he could love someone, that someone could love him. You're strong now. Of course, you still have your issues to handle, but you're better than you were before. You're not scared anymore. Because now you know, that no matter what, you a have a family that will protect you. You a family you'd be willing to die for.
And that means everything to you.
More than words can say.
