I was at the station I picked up an extra shift after my original one usually I would head to Carlos's after my shift but I couldn't really do that
the whole team was chatting over Mateo falling of the banister earlier and the most recent calls we had that day I wasn't in the mood for talking and I was too much in my head to focus on anything other than what happened between
"what about you and lover boy tk ?"Marjan said tapping me
"not on speaking terms " I said sipping my coffee as I sat on the counter
"what why," Paul said
'don't really wanna talk about it ." I said
"do you wanna talk about it ?" Mateo said
the whole team just looked at him confused shaking their heads
"you want me to handle him ." Judd said
"no thanks." I laughed
"Are you sure cause remember I told you that if he breaks your heart ill-" Judd said
"I'm sure .. he didn't break my heart okay ."
"are you sure you look heartbroken.." Marjan said
" I'm not heartbroken I'm fine now I'm gonna go walk buttercup .." I said,
"at 1 am in the morning ?" Judd said
" ill go stock the truck ." i said
"It's already stocked ." Paul said
"Jesus people leave some stuff for other people to do ." I said
"Doing something isn't gonna get your mind off the fact that you miss him ." Nancy said
" what are you my therapist now ?" I said walking up the steps
