I knocked on my dads office door as he liked up from his computer smiling at me
"Cmon in son !" He said
"Hey dad could we talk .." I said sitting down
"Sure son this sounds bad .." he said
"Carlos asked me to move in with him ." I said swallowing
"That's great son!" My dad said
"It is ?" I said
"Yes , I'm so happy for your guys ." He said
"You are ?" I said confused
"Son are you okay ? You seem lightheaded ? Are you taking your pills ?" He said
"No wait yes I'm taking my pills I'm fine just confused ." I said as he closed his laptop putting his stuff away
"Did you think I wouldn't be happy for you to ?" My dad asked
"I just don't wanna leave you alone ."
"Son my doctor said I'm in remission remember that's a good thing I don't need you to be my personal nurse ." He laughed
"Go get packing alright I'll be home later to help ."
"Dad are you sure ?" I said
"Positive I love you I'm so happy for you guys ." He said hugging me
"Okay ."
