I pulled out of Carlos's hug which was very comforting but I wanted to see my mom before they took her
"I'm - uh gonna go see my mom ." I said wiping my eye
"Yeah do you want me to go with you ?" He said
"Could you stay here it's not you it's just not the way I wanted you and my mom to meet ideally ..." I said
"Yeah I'll wait out here ." He said kissing my head
"Thanks ..." I said heading back
I walked into my moms room seeing her wrist wrapped
I sat down next to her bed
"Mom.." I cried holding her hand
"I tried .. I really did .." I said
I unwrapped her bandages exposing her scars
I burst out in tears As I looked at the scars up and down her arms
" I really tried I promise..." I said wiping my tears
"We're gonna take her away in two minutes ..." the nurse said peaking her head in
"Alright .." I said wiping my tears
I wrapped my moms wrist up in the bandages
"I love you to mom ..." I said kissing her head as tears rand down my face
I left the room wiping my face as the nurses went in taking her bed out of the room then down the hall ..
