"No." Tk said as he drank his iced coffee Carlos wasn't buying tks statements he new he was upset about something "what has you up so early ?" Carlos asked as tk gave him a coffee " I went to go cuddle my boyfriend but he wasn't there ." Tk said putting the creamer away

"I'm sorry ." Carlos said hugging his boyfriend "you promised that on your days off you would leave work alone." Tk said raising a eyebrow at Carlos "I know I'm sorry" Carlos said he forgot what he promised tk all tk wanted was their days off to not feel like they were at work he wanted to spend time with his boyfriend

"Just have whatever your looking at wrapped up by the time I get back from walking buttercup." Tk smiled kissing his boyfriends cheek "got it" Carlos smiled

But what to didnt know is that the case file Carlos was looking at was a old one from another case in 2018 Carlos minimized the tab to reveal engagement rings for tk he quickly saved the page before closing his laptop as he smiled seeing tk come down the stairs with buttercup After a year and a half of dating Carlos was sure that he wanted to marry tk he just didn't wanna rush tk into something he wasn't ready for and for him to fall down the rabbit hole again
