I walk up to the mirror and wipe away the tears that stained my face. I took a damp paper towel and fixed my ruined mascara.

I went back to science, grabbed my books and apologized to the teacher for leaving so abruptly, blaming lady problems.

The bell rang and I left as quickly as I could to get to the next class. I took my assigned seat and Tobias took his. Which was also next to mine. I can't take this. I walked up to the teacher.

"Miss?" I say and she looks up from grading her papers.

"Yes Tris?" She says smiling.

"I can't sit next to Four, he's just too distracting. Is there anywhere else I could sit?" I ask.

She frowned a bit, "The only open seat is in the back of the class, you don't seem like much of a back of the class type of girl though."

"I'll sit in the back, if that's alright with you?"

"Of course. Anything for my favorite student." She says as I turn around and sit in the back of the classroom. I catch Four looking back at me every now and then. I ignore him the best I can.

The bell finally rings and I bolt past Four and into my next class. Luckily I don't sit next to Four in this class. I sit down and begin working on the notes we need to finish for studying. I finish in record time, so I grab my book and start reading. Before I knew it the bell was ringing and I was carrying on with my day.

~~TIME LAPSE~~

I get through the lunch line and sit down shoving food in my mouth. All these emotions were making me very hungry. I finished my taco so I ate my dauntless cake and drank my milk.

"Slow down there Tris," Marlene laughs sitting next to me.

"No way, food is my best friend." I say eating the bag of chips I got.

"And here I thought I was your best friend." She laughs eating her food at a normal rate. Pfft. What a loser.

"Well, you're one of my best friends too." I smile. Marlene can always manage to make me smile. Theo comes and sits at our table as everyone starts sitting down.

Of course there are only two seats left, next to Christina or next to me. And the only two people not at our table yet was him and Four.

And can you guess where Theo sat?

That's right, next to me. The day after Toby and I take a break after having an argument about Theo.

I'm sure Four will be delighted.

As expected Four angrily puts his tray down next to Christina. And is glaring at me the whole time. Like I told Theo to sit there.

"Woah Four take it easy on the death stares," Will says jokingly, only earning him one as well.

"Hey just 'cause you're in a bad mood doesn't mean you get to take it out on the rest of us." Zeke says.

"Guys, he's probably just mad that I'm sitting next to his girlfriend. Is somebody jealous?" Theo says joking gaining a few laughs from the table. However none of the laughs were from Toby.

He stood up and marched over to Theo grabbing him by the collar.

"You wanna repeat that lover boy?" He said quite intimidatingly.

"I'm not scared of you hot shot," Theo replies unaffected by Toby's anger.

Toby's jaw clenched and his fist drew back.

"Four stop!" I say quickly. He did stop his fist from going further and turned to me.

"Why should I listen to you?" He asked with anger, "you're not my girlfriend."

The words hit me like a slap to the face. But instead of being hurt this time I had had enough. I was mad. I slapped him across the face as hard as I could.

"Just because I'm not your girlfriend doesn't mean you get to treat me like trash! I'm sorry if I made you mad or angry, but guess what you made me mad and angry!" I say, the whole time his cheek turning bright red where I slapped him. "And I'm sorry that nobody's life is fricking perfect, and you doing this? Well it just showed how out of control your anger can get! Who's to say you won't end up like your father, huh?! I'm not sure I even wanna get back together at this point Toby!" I screamed at him and by the end I had quite the audience. Then I realized what I had said. Wow.

I was a fricking bitch.

But then he did something that surprised everyone, he slapped me.

I mean I deserved it, but it still was kinda surprising.

I looked up at him, my cheek starting to swell.

"I definitely deserved that." I say sheepishly. At this point though he wasn't listening. He was walking out of the cafeteria.

My whole table, scratch that, the whole lunch room was staring at me. I just calmly walked to the nurse.

She gave me an ice pack and told me to sit down.

"What happened exactly?" She asked.

"I was clumsy and tripped," I cover quickly.

"On your face?"

"I'm very talented." I say smiling a sad smile. She told me I could stay for up to thirty minutes then left to help another student.

I sat there.

I didn't mean anything that I said. If anything right now I wanted to be in Tobias's arms more than ever. After all the things I said though. That was likely never to happen again.

I said he had anger issues. I should look at myself more often. If anything my anger issues are way worse than his.

As if on cue he walked by the door and did a double take when he saw me. My guess is that my cheek was fairly swollen by this point. I still deserved that slap though.

He had a hand print on his cheek, although there wasn't much swelling on him. He walked into the nurses office grabbed an ice pack and sat next to me.

It was silent and quite awkward.

"Well," I say, "I think I need to apologize and we need to talk."
