Chapter 49: Tris

Tobias came back to the house not too long after leaving to get his clothes, which wasn't surprising because he lived right next door. My mom was still making dinner so I helped Tobias take his stuff to his room. He only had a couple duffle bags, again not surprising, he likes to keep it simple.

I set the bags on the floor in his room and turned to him smiling. He smirked and came close wrapping his hands around my hips leaning in to kiss me. Our lips had barely brushed each other's when we heard someone obnoxiously clear their throat. We turned and saw Caleb standing rather awkwardly.

"Dinners ready," he said and walked away. I laughed and grabbed Tobias' hand and walked done the stairs. The table was nicely set and there was a place for Tobias right next to me... and my dad. We sat down and ate a meal consisting of casserole, garlic bread, and for dessert we had some dauntless cake. Which was great.

We finished up and it was my turn to clean the dishes so I cleaned and Toby dried. When we were done we went up the stairs and I looked at the clock ticking on the wall. 9:45. I looked at Tobias.

"We should probably go to bed..." I said.

"Yup," he said leaning down.

"Definitely," I said raising myself, getting closer to his mouth.

Finally our lips met and the kiss was peaceful and calm and full of reassurance that everything would be okay as long as we have each other. I pulled back and wrapped my arms around him. I can't afford to loose him. He is the best thing to ever happen to me.

"I love you so much." I said, my face buried in his shirt.

He kissed the top of my head, "Tris, I don't know what I'd do without you. You are the only person who has ever truly loved me,"

I smiled and have him a quick kiss.

"You are my everything Tobias, don't you ever leave me."

"I'm not planning on it."

At that we went to our rooms and got ready for bed. I fell asleep thinking about how this day was one of the greatest days of my life. I was happy and Tobias was free from his father. Life was good.

-------TIME LAPSE-------

I woke up rubbing the sleep from my eyes. I glanced at the clock. 6:30. SHIT! I jumped out of bed at ran to the bathroom and flung the door open, it wasn't until after I had done that did I realize the shower was already running. At glance I saw it was Tobias. My eyes widened and I got out and shut the door. Why do we have a see through shower curtain? Was the first thought that came to mind.

The second thought was, I just saw my boyfriends ding ding. Oh my god. I mean I guess I knew I would see it eventually, but my eyes just weren't ready yet. I heard the bathroom door open and Tobias walked out looking both ways down the hall, just a towel around his waist. He spotted me and his cheeks reddened. I could tell mine looked the same.

"Let's never speak of this," We both said at the same time. We both nodded and gave thumbs up to each other before walking into our own rooms. I decided just to spray in some dry shampoo instead of washing my hair. I pulled it up into a sloppy bun on top of my head and put on a pair of ripped jeans and a maroon knit sweater. With my black converse.

I grabbed my book bag and slum it over my shoulder as I exited my room I bumped into Tobias.

"Sorry," I laughed nervously the memory of just a few moments ago still lodged in my memory.

"It's okay," he said giving the same laugh. I scratched my neck as an awkward silence formed.

"Your first morning here is starting off interestingly." I said trying to lighten the mood.

"Yeah," he said with a smile. I grabbed his hand and we walked downstairs together leaving our morning upstairs and starting fresh downstairs.

Okay that is chapter 49, we are so close to 50! I can't believe that I made it this far. And I am so sorry for not updating! I am going to try to update more often.
