TOBIAS' POV

I walk into math and see, with disappointment, that Tris is there. Her attention isn't on me though, it is on the board, specifically the seating chart. My eyes scan the board and widen when they come across my name, next to Tris'.

"No way am I sitting next to her!"

"And there is no way I am sitting next to him!" Tris says. The teacher just looks at us annoyed.

"And there is no way I am changing the chart. Class take your seats before the bell rings!" Mr. Hook says. Reluctantly me and Tris move to sit down. lucky me though, Nita is on the other side of me.

The bell rings and the teacher speaks up, "Today, since it is the first day, we will do a project about getting to know each other! I will hand you a form and you will ask the person at your table the questions on the page!" When he finishes he hands out the worksheet, but only then do I realize who is my table partner.

Tris.

She sits there glaring at me, as if I had done it! I wouldn't want to interview her... Ever!

"Nice to know, right back at you, but I would like to get a good grade so if you don't mind..." she says and I get confused and she lets out and annoyed sigh, "You were thinking out loud, smart one." I roll my eyes and look down at the paper.

"What's your gender?" I ask and she looks annoyed and I smirk.

"Female. What's yours?" she asks me.

"Male. Favorite color?"

"Blue, you?"

"Blue." I say, a little weirded out that we like the same color, well maybe not, I like the color of her shirt maybe she likes another shade of blue.

"Weird. Do you play any sports?"

"Football and Baseball. Do you play any sports?"

"I am a cheerleader and I play volleyball." she says, well that explains her abs.

"What's your preference, singing or dancing?" I ask.

"Singing. And you?" She says surprising me, she can sing? That's kind of cool, do to the fact that Nita sounds like a dieing whale when she sings.

Tris chuckles and Nita smacks the back of my head.

"I said that out loud didn't I?" I ask and Tris nods her head yes. "to answer you question, I prefer singing too." Then the bell rings and I go to my next class. No seating chart, yes!

"Hello class, first things first a seating chart!" No! I thought too soon. "Alright so... Zeke and Uriah, Will and Al, Eric and Lauren, Peter and Drew, and finally Tris and Four."

We don't bother arguing we just sit down, this is going to be a long year.

So what did you think of that? Good or not? Comment any ideas you have and I will try my best to incorporate them!
