Chapter 21

TRIS' PoV

The week goes by fast and uneventful, until we get to Friday, then it is paintball time. We stand outside the arena waiting for everyone to arrive, so far it's Chris, Mar, Lynn, Shauna, and I. We wait there until Four's black Ferrari pulls into the parking lot and all the guys file out.

" It's about time you decided to show up!" Lynn says, " let's get started!" we all nod and grab the guns and paintballs.

"I vote Zeke and Uri to pick teams!" I shout and no one objects so they start calling names, Uriah starts.

"Four!"

"Lynn!"

"Tris!"

"Will!"

"Marlene!"

"Christina!"

"Shauna!" Uriah finishes.

Zeke has Lynn, Will, Chris and Uri has Four, Tris, Mar, and Shauna.

"Let the games begin!" Marlene shouts and we take off to our sides.

"Mar and Uri, I vote you to go out there and shoot!" Shauna says, "take one for the team!"

They both groan, but don't say no then we yell, "Go!" and the make a run for it and open fire, everywhere. Then finally they both get shot, but their crazy firing led to Will walking out too.

I find a hole in the barrier and shoot at Will, it hits him in the back of the head, he glares, but can't see me then walks out of the arena. All of the sudden a paintball whizzes by my head and my eyes go wide, I see Christina smirking, she almost shot my face and she is smiling, wow, my friends are great.

But as soon as the smirk was there it was gone, because Four shot her in the chest.  We high five.

"Zeke or Lynn?" I ask.

"Let's take out Lynn." he suggests and I just nod my head and count to three on my fingers. We shoot but right before that Lynn does and she gets Shauna out, but only seconds later she joins her sister.

"Alright, do they honors of shooting your best friend." I say point to Zeke. Four smiles and shoots Zeke in a place where the sun doesn't shine and we crack up. As the laughter dies I fins mYself staring into his eyes, then slowly but gradually our faces are getting closer and closer until finally we are kissing, a very passion filled kiss. 

We break apart and all our friends are grinning ear to ear.

"What?" Four and I both ask at the same time.

"We are the perfect match makers!" Chris and Uri say giving each other a highfive.

I'll have to thank her later.
