A/N I just need to point out that I have no idea what day it is in my book. I'm just gonna say it is Friday. I am sorry, I tend to have this problem a lot.

We walk into the kitchen and my mom is standing at the stove making eggs.

"Good morning mom," I said taking a seat at the table next to Tobias. My mom set down plated in front of Tobias and I. We ate quickly and got into his car.

"Are you ready to face everyone at school today?" I asked remembering yesterday.

"Yeah, I don't care what they think, I feel accomplished." He said smiling. I smile and lean my head back on the soft leather seat.

Within a minute we were at school. Our friends were in the usual spot, but there was a crowd surrounding them, bombarding them with questions.

As soon as we stepped out of the car I knew we would soon join them. I looked at Tobias, took a deep breath, and stepped out of the car.

"Maybe if we are quiet they won't notice us," I suggested. He gave a nod and grabbed his keys and directed it at the car, but instead of pressing the 'lock doors button' he pressed the 'sound the alarms button' the alarm blared and all heads turned towards us and there was dead silence. The opposite of what I expected.

Toby and I slowly started walking to the school, and oddly enough everyone else just carried on. Huh. Well that went over fairly well. I looked at Tobias and shrugged. We walked to first block and sat down. Took some notes. And repeated the routine until lunch.

We walked into lunch and got a few stares from people, but no one talked to us. However, when we got to our table... let's just say it was a different story. We hadn't talked to anyone about why the Tobias incident happened yesterday except to police.

Most of the questions involved the word 'why?" in it. I looked at Toby and he looked down at me and nodded. He was going to tell them.

He went on and told his life story. And I didn't pay that much attention. I already knew it and every time I hear it it makes me wanna punch someone or something.

After lunch Tobias and I went on with our day as normal. In gym we ran a few laps and then I remembered I had cheer practice. Ugh. I kissed Toby's cheek at the end of the day and told him to pick me up in an hour. He nodded and drove of towards home.

I got to cheer and heard the other girls murmuring about how it was so sad that Tobias had such a cruel dad. By the end of the day today everyone had put 2&2 together and figured out why yesterday's events took place. They also mentioned how it made him 'kind of hot' because it gave him a sensitive side.

What the hell? What is hot about being beaten for years and having to hide it?!

We warmed up by doing stretches and jogging one lap. Then we did some stunts to practice for the pep session next weekend.

By the time I knew it Tobias was in the parking lot waiting for me. I swing open the door and plopped down in the seat next to him. I smiled and closed my eyes, trying to sleep. Then in what felt like a millisecond Tobias was gently shaking my shoulders to wake me up. Instead of getting up I just snuggled deeper into the seat. I felt him roll his eyes.

I felt his arms go around me as he scooped me off my feet. I smiled, my eyes still closed. His lips touched my forehead. Then I was being lowered onto a plush surface. The couch. I opened my eyes ever so slightly and then went back to sleep.

Today was tiring, but good.
