Chapter 14: Tris

He just sits down quietly, he didn't yell, or get mad. He just sat... I am scared now, he has to be planning something. Then something else happens he puts his head in his hands and I see that he is upset. Great now I feel terrible, I made the almighty Four sad.

"Sorry." I mumble and he looks up at me.

"Yeah? Then why did you do it? You know I haven't slept with anyone, I know you heard me!" he whisper shouts at me so no one else hears.

"You know what? You don't have to sleep with people to be a man whore Four! You use people to get what you want, you have hook ups for Gods Sake, WHAT I WROTE WAS TRUE!" I yell the last part and everyone stares at me. Four is just wide eyed staring at me. Four looks like he is about to say something when the bell rings.

Saved by the bell.

~~TIME LAPSE TO LUNCH~~

I sit down next to Christina at lunch and she looks at me with a grin on her face.

"Wow! I didn't think you would ever stand up to Four!" she says, and I know she is trying to be supportive, but I still feel kind of bad.

"Yeah, I guess." I say acting like it was nothing, "Hey, I will see you later, I am going to go for a walk."

"Okay, see ya next block!" she says but I am already half way to the door. I walkout and see Four talking to Lauren, one of his 'hook ups' I roll my eyes ready to walk the other way but, my mind tells me to listen to the conversation. So I stay hidden but listen.

"but Four!" she says in a whining tone.

"No! No more trips to the library, or making out outside my locker, no I'm done with that!" Four says in a dead serious tone. I hear her give an offended noise and storm off, then I hear footsteps... Getting closer... CRAP! He turns the corner and sees me.

"Hey!" I say.

"Stalk much?" he asks raising an eyebrow smiling.

"Only in my free time!" I say and start to walk away, but he grabs my wrist.

"Hey Tris?" He says and I just stare at him so he continues, "Thanks. For letting me see the real me." He rubs the back of his neck getting nervous.

"Well someone was gonna tell you eventually, so why not just have me write man whore on you locker and yell at you in the middle of class right?" I say laughing a little toward the end and he laughs a little too. "Hey, question?" I ask for permission and he stays quiet so I continue, "One down now how many more?" I ask and he goes a shade pinker in the face from embarrassment.

"Um... 4 more to go" he says looking down at his feet.

"Wow! You're really messed up!" I say and then realize how mean I must sound so I add,"At least you are trying to fix it."

"Yeah, well I got to go..." he trails off and starts to walk away but I surprise myself by saying something.

"You know Uriah, Zeke, and you can sit at our table sometime if you want, you know because Uriah and Zeke are dating two of my friends."

He turns slightly and gives a half smile, "I'd like that." then turns back and walks away.

Shoot! I like Four.

Okay, so good or no? Fourtris will obviously happen, just not yet! I feel like everyone else rushes it so I am taking my good old time getting to Fourtris! Anyways comments are helpful! Anything I should change? Thanks for Reading!
