Chapter 41: Tris

I walk in and see Tobias awkwardly sitting in the love seat trying to avoid watching Tyler and Shaylee make out. He looks up and sees me. He mouths the words, 'Help me,' I chuckle.

"NO PDA!" I shout and they break apart, "What are you doing in my house?"

"We came to invite you and T-Four for a double date," Tyler says. I look over to Tobias who looks skeptical, but nods.

"Okay, when, and where?" I ask.

"Ten minutes and the movies!" Shaylee says.

"I be ready in five!" I say running up the stairs to my room. I grab a sweatshirt and throw it on then go to the bathroom and fix my hair and makeup. Eventually I am in a sweat shirt, skinny jeans, Uggs, and my hair is up in a messy bun.

I go back down stairs and this time it is only Tobias standing there.

"Driving separately," he explains. I shrug, "I think they are planning something,"

"Me too," I say walking out to his car.

"Your not concerned?"

"No, not really," I say and kiss him, "They can't do anything to separate us and us is all that matters to me," I smile and open the passenger side door,and buckle in.

We drive to the theater and see Tyler and Shaylee waiting, they hold four tickets up in the air.

"Thanks," we say as they hand is our tickets. The movie person slips Tyler and Tobias her number, and I walk by I pretend to cough and say 'slut' between coughs. Tobias chuckles.

We go into our theater and We go in the sixth row Tobias sits in the fourth seat in, I sit in the third, Tyler sits in the second, and Shaylee sits on the outside seat.

The theater darkens and Tobias' arm goes around me and I snuggle into his side. I have already seen this movie so I don't pay attention. Toby and I just text the whole time. Then Tyler does something unsurprising, he rubs his leg against mine, in an attempt to seduce me. I roll my eyes and text Tobias.

He is touch my leg!!! 😨- T

And after that text Tobias stands up and grabs Tyler by the collar.

"What do you think your doing?" he says enraged.

"Nothing," he says emotionlessly. Tobias punches him in the jaw and Shaylee screams, it's a good thing we are the only ones in the theater. Toby storms out of the theater looking scared.

I run after him.

"Four wait!" I say, being careful to use his nickname. He stops and I go up to him.

"Why did you leave me back there? Are you alright?" I ask looking at his worried expression.

"I'm fine," he says, obviously lying,

"Bull shit, Four I thought you trusted me?" I say, but it comes out a question.

"I do," he say, "It is myself that I don't trust, what if I hurt you like that one day, I don't think I could forgive myself,"

"You won't hurt me, you are nothing like that monster that you call a father, you fight for all the right reasons," I say and kiss him passionately in the middle of the movie theater.

"I love you so much,"

"But I love you more,"

"Impossible, because I love you most," he says with a smile.
