Chapter 61 {Monday Oct. 20}

Tobias is really jealous. It's freaking adorable, kind of annoying but definitely adorable.

"I don't like him."

"Of course you don't you're my boyfriend and he's my boy that's a friend." I say putting emphasis on the word friend.

"Still don't like him," he grunted taking a seat on the couch next to me. I grabbed the remote and turned on the T.V.

Finding nothing to watch I turned off the television and grabbed my back pack to do my homework. I don't have much homework, so I finish quickly.

"Trisss!" Four whines next to me.

"Fooourr!" I mock his tone.

"I'm bored." He says.

"Aren't we all?" I ask. I lean in and kiss him. The kiss becomes more intense and suddenly I'm laying down with him on top of me.

A throat is cleared.

We break apart quickly. I run my ham through my hair taming the mess it had become.

"Tris."

"Christina."

"I was gonna ask if you want to go shopping but obviously you're a bit busy." She says gesturing to Tobias.

"Yeah..." I didn't deny it, "Um... how bout' this weekend?"

Christina sighed, "Fine."

"Want to get Starbucks tomorrow?" I ask, "I can pick you up before school. We need some serious girl time."

"Sure," she smiles. "Be at my door no later than seven."

"Okay. See you then." I say as she walks back out the door. Which I lock behind her. I turn around to Toby.

"Guess what?" I say.

"What?"

I giggle, "Chicken Butt." I explode with laughter.

"Sometimes I wonder why you're not still in the sixth grade." He says laughing too.

"I'm tired." I say feeling my eyes droop.

He pats the spot on the couch next to him and I take a seat resting my head against his shoulder. He wraps his arm around me. Soon I fall into a deep sleep.

I'm in a dark room.

Then a light shines down on a figure and I run to it and discover it is Toby. He smiles at me and then our lips meet. When I pull back it isn't Toby.

It's Theo.

"Tris how could you?!" I hear Tobias's voice behind me. I turn and see him angry and hurt. "I trusted you!"

I try to say I thought it was him, that I love him but I can't control what I say. "I love Theo."

No. No. What's happening.

I jerk awake as my head hits the couch cushion with a thud.

"What the he-" I say and then realize a rather mad Tobias.

"What's your problem grumpy?" I ask.

"What were you dreaming about?" He asks. His jaw clenched and fists balled up.

"A nightmare." I say. I must have said something I was dreaming out loud.

"Oh sure," he says with venom. Yep definitely said something out loud.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" I ask standing up putting my hand on my hip.

"Tris you obviously like him." Toby says still fuming, why can't he just believe me when I say I love him.

"Why?" I say, "Because I talked to him? Because I was nice to him? Because I was trying to be a good person?" By the end I was nearly screaming at him. His anger had dulled. "I didn't realize being your girlfriend meant you got to control who I talked to and who I could be friends with." Without waiting for him to reply I run up the stairs into my room.

Why did he have to be so possessive?

I need to break something. Without thinking a punched the wall, putting a good sized hole in it. Also breaking some bone in my hand. Well shit.

I ran out of my room and down to my car. Four tries to stop me but I just close the door and pull out of the driveway and drive to the hospital.

I go to the ER and fill out the forms and rate my pain. Within twenty minutes I was being examined by a doctor, and I had about twenty texts from Toby. An hour from then I had a cast on my hand and I was leaving the emergency room.

I didn't want to go home.

I knew Toby would be there, and I just didn't want to talk to him right now.

So I went to the place where I could talk and not be judged. I knocked on the door.

"Tris?"

"Hey, can I come in?"
