I don't mean to fall asleep, but apparently I do, because I feel a strong hand shaking me awake.

"Tris, are we going to school?" he asks and I debate it in my head for a minute.

"No, one more day off then we go back," I say still full of sleep.

"Okay, since your awake, wanna get me some pain medicine?" he asks in a 'I'm innocent tone'

"Ugh!" I groan and roll of the coach and walk into the kitchen where the medicine cabinet is and grab him to pills and a glass of water, I walk back and hand them to him, and he quickly takes them.

"Thank you baby," he says and I finally get a good look at his face.

"How the heck did you get the swelling to go down that quickly Tobias?" I ask, his face basically already back to normal. He gives me a questioning look then puts his hands on his face.

"I have no idea," he says confused.

"Okay then," I say and lay down with him again. He drapes his strong arm around me and I bury my face into his chest. As my eyes are about to close the phone rings. "Gosh darn it!" I say and stand up to find my cell phone, I answer it.

"Hello?" I say groggily.

"Tris where have you and Four been?!?" I hear a crazed Christina say from the other end of the phone.

"At my house..." I trail off, then I remember I forgot to tell them about Four's wisdom tooth.

"Four got his wisdom tooth out, I am taking care of him," I add before she can say anything more.

"Oh, when will you be back at school?" she asks.

"Tomorrow! Bye!" I say and hang up, getting cranky from too little sleep. I go lay back down with Tobias. We go back to the way we were before, this time though, I can close my eyes and sleep.

(Dream World)

I walk down a familiar hallway and come to a set of stairs, I about walk past them but then I hear a scream.

Tobias' scream. Hurriedly I run down the stairs and see a bloody Tobias on the ground with an evil Marcus standing over him, belt ready to whip him again.

"STOP!" I say trying to reach him but my feet stay right where they are, I feel tears forming at the rims of my eyes but I hold them back I have to be strong. I try my best to move but it is useless.

"TOBIAS! NO! STOP YOUR GOING TO KILL HIM!" I scream at Marcus, but I don't seem to phase him he keeps doing it and finally I hear a response.

"Tris? TRIS! TRIS!!"

(No more dream world)

I jerk awake and see a very concerned Tobias' looking at me. Tears threatening to spill over and just this once, I let them.

"What was it about?" he asks pulling me to his chest and stroking my hair.

"I-I was wa-walking down st-stairs and th-en Marcus was beating you and I couldn't save you!" I say between sobs into his chest.

"Shh... It's okay, I'm here now," he says and I slowly calm down.

"But what if one day your not?" I say.

"I will always be here," he says. For some reason at this moment I chose to be self conscious.

"But what if you find someone better?" I ask and he looks at me bewildered.

"I couldn't even if I tried," he says.

"I don't get it, why do you like me of all people?" I ask.

"I don't like you, I love you," he responds.

"Well, then why do you love me?" I ask rolling my eyes.

"Because your beautiful, smart, selfless and brave. You just don't see yourself the way I do," he says kissing my forehead. I smile and bury my face into his muscular chest once more but don't go to sleep.

"I love you," he says and finally I think I am ready to say the words back.

"I love you too,"

"I love you three," he says and I roll my eyes.

"and I am not falling for it," I say and he chuckles.

"Worth a shot," he says with a shrug.

"If you heal as fast as you unswell, you might be able to play Friday," I say cheerfully.

"YAY!" he exclaims like a little kid.

I laugh and think to myself, 'things are going so well, I hope they never change'.

So, what did y'all think?

How many chapters should I make this fanfic, I mean I think at the very least fifty and very most 100? But I want opinions, I can do more, or less even!
