chapter eleven

The reception room was crowded. staff assistants, and workers.
"Good morning to you all" Mr. Fred's voice boomed in the room." it's my pleasure to welcome you to our yearly meeting today. as we all know, we do have this every year. the new ones may ask what I meant by that. but I'm happy to tell you that, some companies want an alliance with us. and so to accept that, we are having a meeting party."
The crowd applauded.
"so, each one of us has an opportunity to present our company's line of work....and it's going to be a teamwork.! this, would allow us to learn more about each other."
applause sounded in the room again.
"so..it's time to pair. each one of us should work with our partners right away... remember, this partner of yours would be with you throughout the end of the program," he said smirking.
sat felt his gaze on hers
"Mr. Scott and miss Livia"
"Mr. MacPherson and Mrs. Smith"
"Mr. Whittaker and miss Tiffany"
Sara gasped and stared at tiff who was smiling.
she knew what tiff was doing.
and she knew she planned it all along.
"miss baker and Mr. Fred"
great. paired with a peacock.
more people were paired and so it was done.

Max arranged his work bag and stepped out of his office.on his way out he met Tiffany.
tiff catwalks in, swaying her hips seductively to attract Max.
Max rolled his eyes.
"Hello, Maxie..."
"what can I help you with miss?"
"don't you know we were paired up?.this project has to be done you know..."
"We can always practice the whole.."
"not really" she interrupted. "Mr. Fred wants it to be a confidential thing..he doesn't want his staff stealing each other's work."
"so?"
"so, it's either you come to my home, or. I come to yours!"
Max stared at her. why does it have to be so difficult? it would have been pretty easier if he was paired with the woman he loved.
"so..." tiff played with her hair." what do you say?"
"come over on Wednesday then .so we can get done with it," he said and walked away.

Lily stared at tiff." are you kidding me!" you're going to pay someone to get you pregnant!"
tiff smiled and said"listen up babe. I can't let that pumpkin get my man. this is the only option I've got now."
"But..why can't you do it another way?"
"I can't" she replied rolling her eyes." this isn't a game silly., this is real. if I could have someone get me pregnant, then I can lie it's Max's..and we could get married!"
Lily sighed."Max isn't a fool dummy. what if he asks a doctor to test the whole thing?"
"I can hire a doc that can fix that." she smiled."don't worry sweet..money will pay for all the secrets we needed to get covered."
"so.. what's the first step?"
"we get pregnant!"
