Survivors (Captain Swan)

5 ; Town Line

Emma shook her head. It could not be true. She had always been able to come in and out Storybrooke and it never disapeared like that.

But what if it was because she was in the book now ? Or because this curse that hitted the town's limits wasn't Regina's, it was the Snow Queen's curse. Maybe now it affected her.

She was now alone, with only her yellow bug and Henry's IPod. Killian was on the other side, but she couldn't see him.

As the car had passed the town line, Killian started to scream her love's name. " Swan ! Emma ! " he kept saying but nothing happened. He saw her hitting her head on the window and approached the line, without crossing it.

" Swan ?! " he screamed again.

Emma got out of her car, with a sad look on her face. She walked a little and found herself in front of Killian, without knowing it.

As he saw that she kept looking around, like she didn't see him, Hook started to understand. " No... " he murmured. He took his cellphone out of his pocket and pressed the Emma button. She answered almost immediatly.

" Killian " she whispered.

" Swan, a-are you alright ? " he asked. We could hear his voice shake a little.

" I-I... don't know. Killian, I can't see you. Storybrooke is... gone ! " she declared.

" I see you, Emma you're right in front of me. I'm comi- "

" No ! Don't ! Just, call Regina or my parents. Maybe they'll know what to do " she said as she tried to calm herself. " You need to stay there "

" Emma, I don't- "

" Just call someone and I'll try to see if I can come back "

" No, wait. I don't want you to get hurt. Don't try anything. Call your parents and I'll call Regina " proposed Hook.

" O-Okay... "

Emma was still outside the town line, sitting on the front of her car and talking with Regina, Mary Margaret, David, Henry and Killian over the phone. They we're on speaker mode.

" That spell I had, well the paper on wich the spell was written, to cross the town line i-it's gone. I don't know where, I think someone stole it. I'm sorry Emma, this was the only way to get back here " confessed Regina.

The blonde took a deep breath. All her loved ones where on the other side of that orange line that she couldn't even see and she had just been told that she would not be able to come back.

" We can still find the one who stole it. I don't think it's out of Storybrooke. What happened to Emma was magic, so the one that got her out of here probably did this for some reason and that's probably something that will happen in Storybrooke. We can get her back home " said Mary Margaret, as she grabbed David's hand thighter.

" We can't lose hope " added David.

" It might take some time. We have no clue of who did this to miss Swan " answered Regina.

" We need to do it " spoke softly Henry. " She can't stay out there alone. If she does, I'll go with her ! "

" No Henry, you're staying here " said Regina.

" Henry, Regina is right " added Emma.

Killian stayed quiet. He didn't know what to say. He was afraid that he would lose her, that she, his happy ending, would be gone. It felt just like Regina and Robin's story. He had to believe that Emma would come back. Or that he could go with her.

" Okay, Emma, you will need to find a place to stay. I don't know how long this is going to last. We can send you some of your stuff and we'll stay in contact with you. I'm gonna do my best to find a way to bring you back, we're all going to. Do you think you can do this ? " said Regina.

" Yes. I-I'll go back to Boston. It's the closest from here " said Emma.

" That's all we can do for now. You can call us when you'll be in Boston ? " replied Regina.

" Sure. Thank you " she whispered.

" That's nothing. We'll talk later, Emma "

" Okay, bye " she said.

" Bye Emma ! " they all answered, but not Hook. He still couldn't pronounce a word.

They finished the call and Emma got in her car. She took Henry's IPod and started to play some music from it as she started the engine. A tear came down on her cheek as she started driving on the road.

On the other side of the town line, they were all leaving except Killian. David turned around and saw him. He walked towards the pirate.

" She'll come back " reasured David.

" I can't let her alone there ! She's the only thing I have left ! I-I need her " he spoke, but whispered the last words. He wanted to cross that bloody line, but David stopped him.

" You need to stay here. She wants you to stay. Don't get your hopes up. She is not gone forever. Emma is a survivor, she will come back " said David.
