They were getting used to the smell of paint that stayed around the appartment. In a few days, everything would be finished and their home would finally be ready.
Henry, however, prefered to sleep at Regina's while the appartment was not ready. He didn't like the smell of paint.
Emma woke up in Killian's arms. She loved how it was starting to be a habit and that now, this bed was their bed, this room was their room and this house was their house. They were together and that could only make her smile.
Turns out the pirate was already awake.
"Good morning," he said and she turned around to see his beautiful eyes.
"Good morning," she replied before leaning her head on his chest. "What time is it ?"
"Hum... I don't know," he answered.
"Regina's coming to drop Henry here at 10," she said and then heard a knock on the door.
"I think it's 10, then," replied the pirate with a smirk. "I'll get it," he added, getting up.
"You don't even have a shirt on," declared Emma as she got up and then walked out of the room. She tired to tie her messy hair on the way and she opened the door.
"And I was just telling my mom how my mom would probably be awake since like... two minutes," declared the lad.
"You know me too well," added Emma. Henry entered the appartment.
"I'll se you later," then said Regina. "At Granny's,"
"Is there somthing I haven't been warned of ?"
"Your mom's idea. Granny's at 7 tonight," said the mayor.
"Okay. We'll be there then," said Emma. Regina left and Henry sat on the sofa, opened his ipod and already started playing. She shruged her shoulders and got back to the bedroom. Killian grabbed her by the waist and they fell on the bed, as she screamed a little in surprise, but then laughed.
"Granny's at 7 tonight, it's okay with you ?" she asked as the two of them were lying on the bed, looking at the ceiling.
"Sure Swan," he answered. "I might have an idea for the room's color," he then declared. Both of them could not choose the color or their room. It was the only place where the walls hadn't been touched.
"What is it ?"
"We leave the walls white and put the ceiling blue, like dark blue. Just like the sky at night," he said.
"That would be great ! I like it," she answered and he smiled back. "I'll go make breakfast," she said, getting up.
"Swan ?" he said, as she was about to leave the room.
"Yeah ?" she turned around.
"I love you," he declared.
"I love you too," she answered, smiled and got out of the room.
Killian stayed in the bed, smiling like an idiot, a really happy idiot.
* * *
"So, you've decided what colors you want in your room ?" asked Mary Margaret. They were at Granny's all eating together.
"Well Killian had the idea of leaving the walls white and paint the ceiling dark blue," Emma said. "And I really like that idea,"
Suddently, the door opened and Belle appeared, looking nervous and scared. She was catching her breath.
"R-Rumple. His heart... he... He says were in great danger," she said.
Soon enough they were all running out of the restaurant, except Henry that watched for Neal and Roland, with Ruby's help.
As they arrived in Gold's shop, David and Robin helped the man and put him at the back of the shop.
"I think I know who could give us a hand," said Killian. "The apprentice,"
"Where is he ?" asked Regina.
"In the crocodile's hat. I... trapped him there while I didn't have my heart," he explained.
"I need the hat and the dagger and I'll take him out,"
With Belle's help they found the hat and dagger. Regina took him out of there in a matter of seconds and after he thanked her, he directly got to Rumplestiltskin. He told everyone they needed to act quickly before Rumple would loose his ability to love.
"I am going to try to trap the darkness inside his heart. Step back in case anything happens," he said.
"What will happen to him ?" asked Belle.
"I don't know. I never retrieved that much darkness. Hopefully, he will be okay," he declared.
The apprentice pronounced a spell and put his hand on the crocodile's chest. He took out his heart and then started to put the darkness in the hat. The heart became white. The apprentice put the heart back in its place.
"He's not waking up," said Belle.
"Rumplestiltskin has been the Dark One for centuries. The return to the man he used to be won't be easy," explained the apprentice.
"Well I'll... stay with him," said the bookworm.
"Everything seems fine. I am here if anything else happens," added the man.
They all sighted in relief before they got back to Granny's. While they were walking, Emma felt something was wrong with the pirate.
"Its not your fault he was tra-" she started.
"I trappd him there," he replied.
"You weren't controlling your actions," she said. "It's okay Hook,"
They laced their fingers and kept walking, happy that everything was fine.
