Survivors (Captain Swan)

13 ; Pain

Emma and Killian arrived at Robin's doorstep on time. They were greeted by Marian, looking happy to see them. Their appartment was beautiful and the looked like they did a great job in adapting to the rest of the world. Little Roland was on the couch, watching TV and Robin had just got out of the kitchen to greet their guest, and friends. Roland aslo hopped out of the couch to go see Emma and Killian.

They all moved into the kitchen and they started eating a few moments after.

" How are you doing here ? I mean... in this world. It's a lot different from the Enchanted Forest and Storybrooke " said Emma.

" We got used to it, I guess. Let's just say technology can be confusing sometimes, but apart from that, it's alright " answered Robin.

" I agree with the technology thing " added Hook and Emma laughed, remebering him screaming at his bloody talking machine like he called it the same morning.

Marian had barely said a word of the whole time, but Emma thought it could be normal, since they barely knew each other.

After dinner, they moved to the living room and continued the conversation. Roland was showing Emma how good he was at his gameboy. Turns out the little boy understood technology faster than his parents.

Suddently, she sensed pain in her head. She had no idea what it was, it just happened in a second.

" Emma ? You okay ? " asked Roland, as she was putting her hand to her forehead, trying to calm it.

" Yeah " she simply answered, but it kept growing and she had a flash.

She saw Killian, a heart and dust.

The nightmares. It was the potion she drank, what Killian told her about. Talking about him, he grabbed his Swan's hand, worried.

" Emma ? " he asked.

" I'm fine, it will pass " she whispered. It kept growing and she felt like it was draining her energy. Her eyes were closing.

" Swan, what is it ? " he insisted.

The family did not say a word. They were alarmed by what was going on and somehow, they had the idea that it had to do with magic.

" It's the nightmares. I don't know " she answered.

" W-What nightmares ? " asked Robin.

" Like monsters chasing after her ? I make that sometimes and daddy helps me when it happens " added the little four-year-old.

" It's a little more complicated than that, lad. But let's say it's that... " repiled Hook. Emma let her head fall onto Killian's shoulder and shut her eyes. She stopped fighting it, she had to face it.

" Swan ? Emma ? " said Killian, more and more worried.

" I'll call- " started Marian but the pirate stopped her.

" This is magic, nothing from this world will help. We should call Regina " said Killian.

Emma woke up shaking and hot, a heavy and fast breathing. She took a moment to realise where she was, but she was Killian's face.

" Love, are you alright ? " he asked softly. She simply nodded and concentrated on her breathing and her hear beating fast in her chest, trying to slow the whole thing down. She sat as Killian helped her. He was still worried of what happened. " Regina said you should rest. Normally that kind of thing happens when you just drank the potion and she says sleeping will help " he added.

Again, she nodded. She remembered having a headache that day she first had the nightmare, but not as strong as what just happened. And why did it happen ? She didn't drank any potion, there was no magic in this part of the world.

" The nightmare, it changed again " she said, looking at Killian and only him, forgetting about Robin and Marian watching. Roland was in bed by that time.

" What happened that time ? " asked Hook.

" The person... the one doing all this it's- it's Rumplestiltskin " she declared.

I'm not at school because I'm sick so I took a little time to write you a chapter :)
