" Wait, wait, wait, start over. What did happen ? " said Emma as they were talking to Regina over the phone, in speaker mode so Killian could hear to.
" Well, turns out Cruella and Ursula were in town and they brought Maleficent back, " started Regina.
" They're real too ? " asked Emma.
" Stop interrupting me if you want me to get to the point ! " said Regina. " I went undercover to find out what they wanted and it turns out that they're looking for the author to get their happy ending, just as I am, but they'll take a much darker path to get their goal. Also, Rumplestilstkin is back, with them. I got in the place where they're hiding and to make it short, they're keeping August captive- "
" August ? The old one ? " asked Killian.
" Yeah. Rumple just... I don't know. Finally, I found the spell back, they had it, probably to get Ursula, Cruella and Rumple in town. I don't know how. You can come back, " finished Regina.
" W-We can ? " asked Emma, relieved. She'll finally see her son back, her parents. She'd have to deal with vilains again, but that almost became more than normal.
" Yeah. I didn't tell anyone yet, maybe you can surprise your family. I don't have much time because they're expecting and I need to keep my cover. Can you be at the town line in five hours ? " asked Regina.
" We'll be there. Thank you so much, " said Emma.
" It's okay. I have to go. Bye ! " replied Regina, then hanging up the phone. Emma did the same and then looked at Killian.
" We're going back, " she muttered and she saw Killian smile.
" Yes, we are, Swan, " he answered and then pulled her closer to hug her. She felt so relieved to finally be able to come back home.
" Let's go get our things ! " she then said, getting out of Killian's embrace and running to her room to pact her stuff.
Four hours later, they were ready to get on the road in Emma's yellow bug.
* * *
" Hook, what about the nightmare ? " asked Emma, breaking the silence. They were still riding, but they were getting close to the town line. In about fifteen minutes they would arrive to their destination.
" It's not reality, don't worry about it. Being in Storybrooke will not change any of this, " responded Killian.
" I just feel like it's a warning. Someone made me drink that potion and Gold is behing all of this. Now that he is in Storybrooke... " she started.
" Don't worry about it, love. We won't get hurt and everything will be fine, " he reassured her.
A few minutes later, Killian was talking to Regina on the phone as she was givig them instructions on where to stop if they did not want to miss the town line. Finally, the yellow bug was parked a few inched from the orange line.
" It's simple. I'll throw you the paper, you take it in the car and drive. You'll see me, " said Regina over the phone.
" Got it, " answered Hook.
A paper came flying out of nowhere and Emma grabbed it before it touched the floor. When she touched it, she looked up and saw the town and Regina waiting for them. She smiled and Killian beside her was doing the same. They ran to the car and Emma quickly started the engine so they could enter the town.
Passed the line, they stopped next to Regina. Emma got out of the car to go and see her.
" Thank you so much, Regina, " said the savior.
" You're welcome. Your family is at the appartment. You should go and see them. I still have somewhere to be, " she answered.
" Okay. I'll see you later then. We'll have to do something, about August, "
" If I let my phone at the cabin where he is, can you work out something to locate it ? " suggested Regina.
" Sure. I'll check that and talk about it with my parents, " answered Emma.
" Okay, good. I'll see you later, " said Regina before dissapearing in a cloud of purple smoke.
Emma got back in the car where Killian was waiting for her.
" I bet we're going to see your family ? " said Hook.
" We are, " smiled Emma.
They rode for a few minutes before getting to the appartment and Emma rushed to the door when they arrived. She ran the stairs, followed by Killian and knocked on the door of her family's appartment.
