19 ; Saving August

" C'mon, this way ! " said Emma, taking another path in the forest, followed by her parents and Hook. She had her eyes on the 'map' she printed the day before. She had to concentrate on saving August, but she had so much questions in mind, wondering why she had been pushed out of town, why had they captured August, what were they going to do when they'll have the author, if they do ? Because those vilains are certainly not going to ask the writer to write them a happy ending, for sure they have something else in mind, that probably didn't include Emma and they needed her out of the way. She even started about that case she was supposed to take back in Boston, she was supposed to find Lily, the only friend she really had when she was younger but like always, she ended up broken. That's why she cared so much about saving August, because he was her friend.

Emma felt an arm wrapped around her waist and she knew it was Killian. She gave him a smile and they continued their walk. The cabin was close and they had their plan all set.

When they arrived, David and Emma entered first, Hook following a few seconds later and they saw August tied to a chair and Cruella next to him, holding a gun in their direction.

" I'm here for my friend, " said Emma.

" So the saviour found us, did she ?" started the woman, but a second later she was lying on the ground, unconcious. Just behind her appeared Mary Margaret with a frying pan.

" Nice one mom, " said Emma, dropping her hands because she was about to use magic.

" First thing you learn as a bandit, back doors are usually unlocked, " said Mary Margaret. After giving her a quick smile, David and Emma rushed to help August while Hook was watching everything from behind.

" August, are you okay ? Did they hurt you ? " asked the savior.

" I'll survive " he answered.

David started to untie the ropes that held his hands, while Emma took off the ones at his feet in a second with magic.

" Well, I see someone's been practicing, " declared August.

" Well I remember someone telling me I just needed to believe in myself, " she replied.

" I always knew you'd figure it out, " he said, smiling and Emma bent to his height.

" It's good to have you back even if it isn't the way things were... supposed to be. I didn't have to wait 20 years to see you it's... you again " she said and they both laughed a little.

" Me too, " he smiled.

" C'mon, let's get you out of here, "

As they all got up, Mary Margaret and David helped August get out but Emma stopped when she saw Killian.

" Are you alright ? " she asked, getting closer to him.

" With all this talk of authors and the book we never disscused one fact, I'm a vilain, " started Killian.

" But you're not anymore, " answered Emma.

" Neither is Regina and she still lost her happy ending, " he added. " If we were to believe the rules of the book, then it's only a matter of time before I lose mine, "

" Wait, if you're afraid of losing you happy ending that means you found it. What is it ? " asked Emma, a little confused.

" Don't you know Emma ? It's you. " he confessed and his princess looked at her deep into the eyes before getting closer and slowly fall into a passionnate kiss, with their love stronger than ever. A tear fell on Emma's cheek, a tear of joy for sure.

Just outside the cabin, the Charmings were getting sure August was alright, but after a moment, David thought Emma and Hook were taking a lot of time.

" I'll just go tell them to hurry up, " said David before climbing the few stairs and opening the door. However, the only thing he found was a cellphone, Hook's ans complete silence.

" Emma ? Hook ? " he started screaming around the cabin. No answer. He tried calling Emma but he had the same result and he had to come to the conclusion that they were missing.

Sorry to stop it here and I know that chapter was more rewriting of a scene but what comes next will be different from the show ;) This is like my season 4B without Emma going dark :p

Right now I'm really fast at posting but it might slow down because I have other stories to update, a weekend of studying to do and 7 exams next week :'( Plus dance, babysitting and everything. So we'll see
