                                               Chapter 17

                                 After that day Harry and me were interviewed almost every day for about a week and then everything went back to normal, a week later I woke up on the day of the house cup. I quickly went downstairs to the Great Hall, where my parents and friends were eating. I ate quickly then me and my team ran out to the quidditch pitch and jogged around the pitch once and then went to change. I put on all my things and then grabbed my new Firebolt, which my dad had given me when I woke up after the big fight in the ministry. We all sat down as Alex started to explain our strategy. Then I got up and explained what we were going t do when we were going to win, I know I was a bit cocky but it was kinda nice to think about a big party in hogsmeade for Slytherin. When it was time for the game we all walked out onto the field, smiling and waving. I could hear my mom and dad cheering and the rest of slytherin. Gryffindor and our team met in the middle, we shook hands then stood back. The balls were released and we all kicked off, I flew along the outside of the stadium. Blaise was the first to grab the quaffle but then he got hit by a bludger and it flew out of his hand, also giving him a bloody nose. Blaise kept flying and stole the quaffle from a Gryffindor boy. He took it to the goalpost and threw it, scoring ten points. I cheered and then the game resumed, Gryffindor flew towards the hoop and threw the ball but Alex kicked it away, right into Blaise's hands. Blaise took it straight to the goal and scored again. Gryffindor got the ball and scored this time. Blaise grabbed it, passed it to Jason, who passed it to Anna and then she scored and flew back smiling. I saw a flash of gold and dived after it, the game kept going but I could hear my mom yelling "Go Lena Go!" we scored a couple more points and then I pulled ahead of Ginny and grabbed the snitch. "Yeah!" I yelled. Slytherin and some other people stood up and cheered, I held up the snitch in triumph and smiled at everyone. I went to the ground and dismounted, my team all rushed over, Blaise hugged me and said "That was awesome Lena" he said. Professor Dumbledore walked down with the house cup and said "Our winners, Slytherin" and he handed the trophy to us. We held it up in triumph then we shook hands with Gryffindor and then took a victory lap around the stadium, and when we landed we all ran to the locker room, to change for our big party.
