Chapter 17

   Chapter 16

                         Spring break went by too quick. When I woke up on the morning George was supposed to leave tangled in the sheets with George laying next to me I held onto him as tight as I could, I didn't want to let go of him until he left. About half a hour after I woke up George opened his eyes and gazed into mine. He kissed me then said "I'm sorry I have to leave Alena" I buried my face in his chest and said "It's alright, just promise you'll stay safe until Summer Break" He grinned. "I will, I promise" he said. I smiled and then he got up and put all of his clothes into his bag then he walked back over and said "I guess I'll see you in a couple months, keep writing me" he said then kissed me "Love you" he said "Love you too" I replied then he disappeared.

                     Once again, George was gone, and I felt like I had just lost a part of me, a tear ran down my cheek and I sat down on my bed. I pulled out the letter I had gotten from my mom a couple days ago, dad had gone there and they were going to get remarried. I was overjoyed that my parents want to get back together, my dad even said mom could possibly be a witch, he had traced it back a bit and her grandma was a witch so he was seeing and if she was he would even let her stay at Hogwarts with us. I folded the letter up and put it in my pocket, I was going to meet Blaise and my dad, possibly my mom at the train station. I disapperated and when I appeared Hagrid bumped into me "Oh, sorry there Lena" he said. I smiled up at him "My fault Hagrid, when's the train going to be here?" Hagrid looked over the trees at some smoke, "I'd say two or three minutes" he said. "Thanks Hagrid" I said. He patted me on the back "Not a problem Lena, just keep yourself outta trouble ye hear" I nodded "I will Hagrid" I said and walked over to a bench and sat down. The train pulled in about two minutes later and started to unload, I looked around for my dad and Blaise and spotted them instantly. My dad walked up and smiled Blaise was right beside him "How was your Spring break Lena?" he asked. "Good, had to revive my mom" I replied. Blaise grinned "I've heard" My brow creased "But how do you know my dad said he wouldn't tell" Blaise grinned "That doesn't mean your mom wouldn't" he said and stepped aside to reveal my mom, dressed in a slytherin robe. "Mom!" I exclaimed and hugged her. She hugged me back "That's right baby momma's here, and she's also a witch" she said with a chuckle and then she said in a joking tone "I'll get you my pretty" I laughed and so did my dad. My dad picked up mom's bag then we walked back to the castle, Professor Dumbledore had agreed to let my mom stay in the castle and teach studies of Muggles while taking lessons from my dad at night, she would also stay in the Slytherin dorm, but there would be no house points for anything she did of course. My dad set my moms things in his room and then he gave her a tour of the grounds, he showed her where I played quidditch, the house cup was coming up fast and me and my team were confident we were going to win, we hadn't lost many games. When we got back to the dorm Blaise was sitting in one of the chairs, he gestured me over and I walked over "Harry Potter wanted to see you" he said. "Where is he?" I asked. "He and some others are at the bridge" I nodded and ran out of the dorm, up the dungeon stairs and out of the school. I ran to the bridge where Harry, Ginny, Luna, Ron, Hermione, and Neville were waiting. "What is it Harry is something wrong?" I asked. Harry nodded "My godfather is being tortured, we're going to the ministry to help him, we want you to come Alena, we need all the help we can get" I looked over at Ginny who was pleadingly looking back. "Ok. I'll come" I said. They all grinned "Let's do it then" Luna and Harry led all of us to a field where horses made of bone were grazing. "What are those?" I asked. "What do you mean?" Ginny asked. Luna grinned at me "Only people who have seen death can see them, come on you can ride with me" I walked over and Luna helped me onto the horse then I pulled her up onto it. Harry helped all the others onto one and then we took off. The wind whipped my hair back as we flew "Where is the ministry?" I asked Luna. "London" she replied. I nodded and about half an hour later we touched down and then we went into a building, then got in an elevator. We all went down and emerged in a hallway filled with fireplaces all leading to a statue, Harry got out first and started walking, we all walked behind him. "We have to get to the department of mysteries" Harry said as he walked over to another elevator and opened it, we all scrunched in and Harry shut the grate behind us. He pressed a button and we started to descend until the elevator dinged and a voice said "Department of Mysteries" the doors opened, Harry opened the grate and we all ran out. Harry was the leader and he ran to the door and opened it, we all ran in, on the shelves were orbs with blue gas swirling in them. Harry lit his wand and then ran down the aisle looking at the numbers, we all ran a short way behind him, eventually we stopped and Harry turned to us and said "He should be here" then Neville looked at an orb and said "Harry, it has your name on it" Harry walked over and picked up the orb and then we heard footsteps, we all grouped together at the intersection, wands raised. Death Eaters walked out of the shadows, wearing masks and their usual breastplate, I was on the back side with Luna. Neville was at the front with Harry, Ginny and Ron were at the right and Hermione was on left. I couldn't see but I could hear a man's voice "You were deceived by the dark lord, potter" and then Neville stammer "Bellatrix LeStrange" then a woman's voice "Neville? Neville Longbottom? How's mommy and daddy?". Neville said "Better now that they're about to be avenged and I heard him raise his wand and then the man said "Now let's all calm down, Harry that prophecy you hold in your hand can tell you everything, haven't you ever wondered how you survived, how you got your scar?" Harry sighed. "I've waited fourteen years" the man said "I know" and then Harry said "I guess I can wait a little longer NOW!" and we all yelled different spells, most hitting Death Eaters and sending them flying. "Run for the door!" Harry yelled. Me and Luna took off behind a shelf and started running, a couple Death Eaters ran after us and we started yelling spells, most of them hitting. When we ran into the door Harry ran up, opened it and then we jumped through. Instead of going to the hallway of the department of mysteries we were in some weird room and there was an arch in the middle, there were voices coming from it. Harry and Luna were getting up and walking toward it. I got up and walked after them "Do you hear them?" Harry asked out loud. "There's no one here Harry" Ginny said "I hear them too" me and Luna said together and then we were engulfed in black. When it cleared I could feel an arm wrapped around my throat and a wand pressed to my temple, I looked up and saw Harry was still standing on the rock, looking around at us. The man Harry had been talking to in the last room walked up the rock with a cane "Give me the prophecy...now" he commanded. "Don't give it to him Harry!" Neville yelled from somewhere out of my sight. I gulped as I felt the wand press harder against my temple. Harry held out the prophecy and the man took it from his hand and then flashes of light flew into the room, one hit the man and he dropped the orb and it shattered. The other light flew around the room, hitting Death Eaters and knocking us free, I was last to be freed. The Death Eaters and whoever had come from the light were throwing spells out of each other. I ducked behind a rock and started throwing spells at the Death Eaters, I stunned one and then I heard a woman's voice yelled "Avada Kadavra!" A green light flashes and I saw a man standing next to hair get hit by it, he seemed to be lifted up and pulled into the arch, a man ran up and grabbed Harry, he screamed and then seemed to collapse. The woman ran off yelling "I killed Sirius Black!" and laughing. Harry broke free and ran after her, I ran after Harry. When I caught up with him he yelled "Crucio!" and hit the woman, she fell to the floor and me and Harry both pointed our wands at her. Her cracked his neck and then I saw a man seem to appear from nowhere behind Harry "Do it" he said and Harry turned around and the man flicked his wand out of his hand. "You should have done it Potter," then he looked at me "And you are, well since I don't know you, you are expendable, stupefy" The spell flew out of his wand and when it hit me I flew back against the wall, and then I lost conciousness.
