Summer Final Part

               Summer Final Part

                          Seamus P.o.V

            About a week after the battle when I woke up Alexa was in my arms, I smiled, a whole summer without her had been crazy, and now I’m holding her again.

        Then I thought about something, being an auror, if she went somewhere alone, or if death eaters came, they would probably take her, or kill her. I looked down at her beautiful face and kissed her gently when I pulled back I whispered “I’m sorry” then I got out of bed and put on a shirt.

               I grabbed my bag that the ministry had delivered yesterday and went downstairs, when I got to the door I stopped. I was leaving, and without an explanation. I looked around for a piece of paper, and when I found one I wrote down “Dear Alexa, I’m sorry for what I have to do now, I just have to make sure you’re safe, so I’m leaving, and when it’s safe for you I’ll come back, I love you Alexa”

            I stood up and felt a tear escape my eye. I was going to hurt her so much because of this, I could only hope that she would take me back when I came back.

           With that, I turned and walked out of the door, and apperated.

                               Lena P.O.V

        I woke up when I heard the door shut outside. I sighed and shook George awake gently “Huh?” he said sleepily. “Wake up George” I said and kissed him gently. He smiled “So what’s up? Why are you up so early?” he asked as he sat up. “I heard someone leave” George sighed “We really need to tell people to shut the door softly when they leave” he said and got out of bed. He went out of the room and I followed him, I was wearing a simple silk nightgown like the night I met my father.

               George walked up to the door and said “Hey. Someone left a note on the door” he took the note off the door. “It looks like Seamus’ handwriting” I took the note and read it. “Oh God” I said when I was finished reading it. I folded up the note and put it in my pocket. “What does it say?” George asked. “Seamus left, he says he’ll be back when it’s safe for Alexa, I don’t know what he means” George sighed “I think because he’s an Auror he thinks if he’s around Alexa is at a higher chance of getting hurt”

              I sighed “This isn’t going to go good with Alexa, maybe we should tell her something else” George nodded “Good idea, how about we tell her the ministry needed Seamus and he had to leave, and he said he’d be back when they didn’t need him” I grinned “Good idea George” I said and kissed him “I’ll tell her later” he nodded.

             “Lena, I’m kinda worried in the same way Seamus is” I gave him a confused look “Why George? I can take care of myself” he nodded. “I know, I know, but at school I just don’t want you to get hurt, I can’t protect you during the day, and now with Seamus maybe not being there, who’s going to make sure you’re safe?” I sighed. “I guess I can stick around Blaise” George frowned “Lena, I’ve heard that a lot of Slytherins are becoming death eaters, what if he’s one of them?”

                I hadn’t thought of that. “Well, if he is I can do my best to keep myself safe, I’ll stick around the other Gryffindors, don’t worry about me George” he smiled and kissed me. “That’s my Lena, always figuring a way around things” I laughed “Yup, that’s me” I said and hugged him. He hugged back and Alexa came downstairs rubbing her eyes.

          “Hey guys have you seen Seamus around?” I sighed “Sorry Alexa, Seamus had to leave, he’ll be back when the ministry is finished with his work” she nodded tiredly “Is anyone else up?” she asked. I shook my head “Not that I know of” at that moment Fred and Georgi came downstairs holding hands. “Hello everyone, what are we all standing around for?” Fred asked. I grinned “Me and George were talking about Seamus, then Alexa came downstairs and we were talking, now you’re here, you guys seem closer than usual” Fred grinned “I just asked Georgi to marry me, and she said yes”

        George clapped him on the back “Good job mate” Fred grinned “Thanks George” he said and hugged Georgi with one arm. Georgi blushed a bit and I smiled at her “Don’t worry Georgi, I know how you feel” she smiled “Thanks Lena” she said.

            Everyone else came downstairs about an hour later, when Bill and Fleur came downstairs I remembered they were having their wedding today. After breakfast we all started setting up the tent for the wedding and putting other decorations up. When it was all done I went back inside and sat down on one of the couches with George. He leaned over and said “Lena, can I ask you something?” I nodded “What is it George” he took my hand in his. “Lena, I’m cared I might not make it through the war, and I want to be your husband, if only for a little while, after your graduation we can have a wedding for show, but I want to marry you today, say our vows, will you?”

          I nodded “I will George” I said. He grinned “We can wait in the field until the wedding starts then we can do it ok?” I nodded.

           When the wedding started, just like we planned, George and I went back toward the field where no one would notice us. “Lena do you take me to be your husband, in sickness and in health, for rich and for poor, for better and worse, in life and in death?” I smiled “I do, George to you take me to be your wife in sickness and in health, for rich and for poor, for better and worse, in life and death”

             George grinned “I do” I wrapped my arms around his neck. “You may kiss the bride”

        During the wedding’s after party George and I were dancing when a Lynx patronus came into the tent. George pulled me closer and we both looked at the Patronus. “The minister is dead, the ministry has fallen” the patronus said then I saw the familiar streaks of black smoke rushing through the sky. “George, death eaters” I said and he yelled “Death eaters!” the death eaters appeared outside the tent. I looked over to find Harry and the others and saw them apperate.

                    Thanks a lot Harry. Georgi and Fred were on the other side of the tent in the same position George and I were in, Alexa was the closest person to the death eaters, she was standing on the outside of the tent. “George, we need to help Alexa” he nodded. “But how do we” he was interrupted by the death eaters shooting off spells. Everyone went running and I saw Alexa go down, I hoped she wasn’t dead, George pulled me through the crowd and started throwing spells back at the death eaters, I felt a spell hit me and I slumped into George half conscious.

               “Lena, please, stay awake, stay with me” George said and picked me up with one arm. “I’m trying” I said in a daze. When we were out of the crowd and in the house George laid me down on one of the couches “Stay here” he said and ran back outside. The next thing I knew Remus was standing over me. “Lena, can you hear me?” I nodded as best I could.  

            “Ok, you’re going to be stunned for awhile, but you’re going to be fine, just rest ok” I nodded and closed my eyes, soon I had drifted off to sleep.
