Snape's Daughter(a harry potter fanfic)

CHapter 9

                     Chapter 9

          Seamus was released from the hospital four days later. Me, George, my mom, my dad, and Alexa walked with him out of the hospital, he looked almost as good as he had when I first met him. Now that I think about it he hadn’t looked great, but he looked better.

                    The doctors had said Seamus was extremely lucky, the amount of venom should’ve killed him , they said he must be pretty tough. Seamus had just smiled and said “I couldn’t have done it with my sister, she made sure I was doing everything I should every day, and my girlfriend, she stayed with me through all of this”. My dad had smiled and so had my mom, “You two seem like a very good couple” my mom said then added “But don’t get too serious, Lena and George waited almost a year to get engaged”.

               Seamus had nodded and grinned “Got it mom, we’ll wait” he said and wrapped his arm around Alexa’s waist. We walked out of the hospital and disapperated back to the castle.

            When we appeared in the courtyard we were met by everyone in Gryffindor who all cheered when we appeared.  Fred and Georgi were at the front, everyone was holding a banner that read “Welcome back Seamus”.

            Seamus smiled and waved. A lot of the girls cheered again and Alexa smiled, Seamus wrapped his arm around her tighter. I grinned and Seamus and Alexa started to walk towards the Great Hall. Me, my mom, my dad, and George followed them. Some girls seemed to be wooing and others were shooting Seamus dreamy looks.

            “Those girls think he’s hot stuff” George laughed. I nodded “But he’s staying with Alexa, I can already tell” he nodded “I can practically feel the love between them” I nodded as we walked up the stairs “You could probably cut it with a knife” George laughed “I don’t really want to cut love Lena”  I laughed “I don’t either, it’s an expression love” I said and kissed him. He grinned “I was just saying that so you would do that” he joked and I playfully punched him in the ribs. He laughed and we stopped in front of the portrait that led into the Gryffindor common room.

               Alexa said the word and the door flung open, my mom hugged Seamus and then we all walked in, followed by the rest of Gryffindor. “Wow, I didn’t think I meant this much” Seamus said when we got into the common room, it was decorated for a party.

            Harry walked up beside him ‘Well, we care about our friends, and almost dying but coming back is a big thing, besides, the girls mostly planned this, they think you’re the best looking guy in Gryffindor” Seamus grinned “Sorry to disappoint them but I have eyes for Alexa alone” Fred and Georgi walked up beside us. “Seamus you’re like the new me and George, everyone loves you” he said and laughed. George nodded “I even found a girl who loves me enough to be my wife” Fred laughed “We’ll see how that works out, but me, I got Georgi” he said and wrapped his arm around her waist.

          Harry walked up to the front of the room when the entire House was in the common room. “Let’s get the party started” he said and laughed. Music started blaring out of what seemed to be invisible speakers and the party started, George and I went to sit by the fire and talk to Georgi and Fred. They were snogging, George laughed and they pulled away from each other.

              Georgi blushed and Fred smirked at George “Can’t I snog with my girlfriend?” George sat down in a chair and I sat on his lap “Not when I want to talk” George laughed. So for the rest of the night we talked, about quidditch and all sorts of other things. When it was around one in the morning we all headed up to bed.

                       Seamus P.O.V

        My dream started as a happy scene with Alexa, walking around Hogsmeade but then it faded to black, and in its place was this nightmare.

              I was in what looked like a mansion, there was a man standing on the landing of the stairs, and Lena was standing next to me. “Where are we Lena?” she looked around, scared. “I…I don’t know Seamus” she stammered out. I looked up at the man standing on the stairs, he was completely bald, his eyes were red, he had snakelike slits for nostrils. “Who in the bloody hell are you?” I asked the man and he smiled evilly.

                “I’m the man who has been watching you since you were born Seamus, my name is Lord Voldemort.” He pulled out a wand and pointed it at Lena “Petrefus Totallus” he growled and Lena stood perfectly still. The man walked down the stairs towards me. He smiled and put a hand on my shoulder, I felt like I had been petrified as well. “Seamus, you would make a great addition to my Death Eaters” I scowled.

          “I’ll never be part of your Death Eaters” I growled and he frowned “Well then, you will die with your sister, you are a very powerful wizard Seamus, worthy to be my heir, but you have thrown that chance away” he put his wand under my chin. “Crucio” he hissed.

         I sat up in my bed, the pain still shooting through my body, a cold sweat was running down my neck. I looked around, there was no Voldemort here, but his words still rang in my ears “You are worthy to be my heir” I shook my head, trying to clear my head. Then, a thought came into my mind, Lena. I got up and ran into the common room and tried something I was sure wouldn’t work.

             “Lena” I said with my mind. “Lena come into the common room,” . A couple seconds later Lena came stumbling down into the common room, she looked dazed.

            “Lena…are you ok?” I asked. I walked over to the bottom of the stairs and she fell forward. I caught her “He wants you to betray us Seamus” she said clinging to my nightshirt. “I’m not going to betray you Lena, you heard me in the dream, I’m not going to be one of them” she nodded and hugged me close “Please don’t ever do anything evil Seamus” she said.

             I hugged her tighter “I won’t Lena, I promise” she sighed then I felt her slacken, she had fallen asleep in my arms. I picked her up and carried her back up to her room and laid her down in her bed, then I went down into the common room and sat in one of the chairs, wand out. If Voldemort came tonight, he’d get one hell of a fight.
