Chapter 10

                               Chapter 10

     On the day of the O.W.L.S me and George woke up and then went down to the courtyard to meet Fred. He was standing there with their Nimbus 2000's and their bags of fireworks, Fred handed George the fireworks and his broom and they mounted, waiting for their moment to go. "Five minutes" I said and George nodded "Wish me luck" he said. I kissed him "Good luck" I said. Five minutes later Fred and George kicked off the ground and flew into the air. The first things they grabbed out of their bags are what me and George call "sparkers" They flew through the doors and into the halls throwing sparkers back and forth. When they got to the entrance hall George grabbed a big firecracker and threw it against the door. It exploded and I heard Umbridge walking towards the door "What was that?" she exclaimed. Umbridge opened the door and George and Fred flew into the room, throwing fireworks everywhere. They stayed in there throwing fireworks for a few minutes then sped back out George dropped a firework to me with a note attached "Set this off when we're gone" it read. I looked up at George as he flew outside and ran out after him. I shoved the firework into the dirt and waited. When Fred and George were out of sight I lit the fuse and when the firework exploded the letter W was made out of sparks. All the kids cheered at this display. My eyes widened and I realized what had just happened. George was gone, I started to cry and ran back to my room and flung myself onto my bed and sobbed into my pillow "Why didn't you go with him!?" I mentally screamed at myself. Eventually I fell myself asleep.
