Macaylasmith: Awsten was emotionally dependent on me for absolutely everything, he couldn't function without me. Constantly relying on me for validation or just to be able to get through his days, his depression was so bad and he absolutely refused to get help. Instead I was just his emotional punching bag.

Macaylasmith: He would become so paranoid when he was out on tour that he would call me in the middle of the night and I would have to stay up with him for hours on end until he would finally fall asleep and I was left getting absolutely no sleep which put a strain on my physical and mental health and he never cared about anyone but himself.
