Chapter 1.2

POV - Narrator:

Hangetsu was still laughing at Y/n's reaction. As he kept thinking about Y/n, he failed to notice two travelers approaching the gate he was stationed at.

He suddenly flinched, sensing an immeasurable chakra, or rather, two immeasurable chakras that sent chills down his spine. Two strangers appeared before Hangetsu. Quite frightened by their notorious chakra, he backed away, running toward the middle of the bridge. He didn't take time to look at them until he had established a good distance between them and himself.

Han raised his head, scanning the outsiders' outfits. They were the people he least expected to return to this village. They wore long black cloaks, decorated with red clouds. "Akatsuki!" he shouted. "What are you doing back in this village?!"

Han pulled out a kunai knife trying to play defense. He knew very well that he may need to fight these two shinobi. One wore a straw hat on his head while the other had a giant sword on his back. The sword was covered with what seemed to be bandages.

The one with the hat had large bags under his eyes. The other had three strange lines under each of his eyes and he had a light blue complexion. He reminded Han of a shark.

"I am asking you this once again! W-what are you doing here?!" Han said, this time stuttering after getting a proper look at the enemy. There was a short silence and finally... an answer.

"Well, you could say we're on a scavenger hunt. And one of the items we need on our checklist is here." said the blue one charismatically.

"You're here for a tailed beast a-aren't you—" he hesitated.

"Bingo!" replied the shark guy.

"You're not getting into the village on my watch!" Han shouted, charging at the two enemies. He didn't know what to expect. Though both of the Akatsuki members were threats, he could feel that the one who hadn't spoken yet was more dangerous than the other.

"Nuisance." the one with the straw hat spoke.

As Han ran towards the intruders, the straw hat guy's eyes caught his attention. They glowed a blood-red color and had three black tomoe that looked like yin. "Sharingan." he thought as he gasped. He looked directly into them. Realizing the simple mistake he had made, Han knew defeat was now inevitable.

Still, he attacked them, knowing that he had to do something to stop them.

"Itachi, I'm sitting this one out. I know you can handle it." the blue Akatsuki said, taking a seat under a tree.

"Ok." the one with the straw hat, who Han assumed was named Itachi, replied.

Han recognized that name. "Itachi... Itachi... Uchiha." he thought. "The killer responsible for the massacre of the Uchiha clan."

Han jumped, trying to injure his enemy with his kunai. Itachi swiftly dodged his starting attack. "Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu!" Itachi shouted, releasing a giant fireball. "Gufu Suika no Jutsu!" Han smirked, knowing that fire release was vulnerable to water release. He created a massive water typhoon from the palm of his hand, directing it towards his opponent.

Itachi was sucked in and his fireball was nullified. Maybe I do stand a chance against them. Han thought, only to be proven wrong. Itachi started to break apart into crows, confusing Han.

He slowly turned around, seeing Itachi completely unscathed. Without taking a moment to think, he threw a kunai at him. The kunai hit Itachi's right eye, only for Itachi to once again turn into multiple crows. "What the hell?" Han said frantically.
