Meira Kurt Cobain was the oldest daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. She had a younger sister named Frances, but everyone in the family called the younger sister Bean. Meira was given her father's first name as her middle name, whilst their m...

Friday had finally rolled around, but Meira was surprised when she didn't see Jasper at school. As though she knew the girl was looking for Jasper, Alice approached her and told her that Jasper would meet her in the parking lot at lunch time. Bella had wished Meira the best, and had made sure to pack an extra notebook for Meira just in case she had extra inspiration for songs or music.
When lunch time had come, Meira ate a quick lunch, which was a chicken quesadilla and a bag of cheetos. After she finished, Bella hugged her tightly, then let the girl leave and head towards the parking lot. As soon as she was in the parking lot, Meira saw Jasper was waiting on her by her car. He had been propped against the side of her car, with one leg bent and the other straight, and his arms were crossed across his chest. He was trying to look like a normal teenager, and for the most part, Meira would believe him.
"Are you ready?" Meira asked, and Jasper nodded.
"Yes, I already put my bag in the backseat." Jasper replied, causing Meira to groan.
"Damn it, I forgot to lock the car again. Charlie's going to kill me if I keep doing that. He said any of these kids could easily tamper with my car or steal my things if I leave it unlocked. Normally he wouldn't have to worry about such things, but since I'm the daughter of Kurt Cobain, I have to be careful." Meira said, as she began to drive towards Aberdeen.
"You do know the directions, right?" Jasper asked, as he looked over at Meira from the passenger seat,"I can always use a map." He murmured, causing her to giggle.
"Jasper, I have a GPS, and besides, I know the directions by heart. I memorized it by heart." Meira commented, and he chuckled as well.
"If it wouldn't bother you, I'd like for you to introduce me to your father's music." Jasper said, causing Meira to smile sadly.
"I can, but are you sure you want to hear his music? It can be a little loud and obnoxious according to my mother." Meira replied, and Jasper nodded.
"I'm very sure." He answered, watching as she pulled a CD from the CD holder above her head and slid it into the radio.
"This album is called In Utero. I've listened to all of his songs, and I know all the words to every one, but my favorite song on this album is number twelve. The name of the song is All Apologies, and it's the very last song on the album. I'll play the whole album if you like, but I'm playing my favorite first. I'll play a different album once we finish this one if you want." Meira said, and Jasper nodded.
Meira's favorite song began to play, and Jasper had to admit it had a nice tune. As the song went on, he could openly say that he liked the song. He listened intently to the lyrics, and he could hear the emotion behind Kurt's words. Once the song was over, Meira turned to Jasper for approval. He told her he liked the song, so she started the album from the beginning to let him hear other songs, as she sang along to them.
"You have a beautiful voice, Meira." Jasper said, and Meira blushed slightly.
"Thank you, Jasper." She murmured, as she smiled at him.
About an hour later, Jasper and Meira arrived in Aberdeen. She drove to their hotel first, so she could check into their hotel room. Jasper and Meira brought their bags to their room, laying them down on the beds.
"Where are we going from here?" Jasper asked, and Meira smiled.
"Well, I was thinking we could go to the memorial site first. Then, I can bring you to the river where some of my father's ashes were spread. I'm going to call the person who owns my father's old house and see if they'd allow me to go in, since he was my father. I want to show you where I grew up for the first four or five years of my life." Meira said, causing Jasper to nod.
"Are you going to sing at the memorial site? I think he'd like that, or you could sing by his house." Jasper commented, making her sigh.
"His fans would smother me." She replied, but he shook his head.
"Don't worry, Meira. I can guard you. I'm stronger than I look, ma'am." He said, and she laughed.
"Yeah, I'll bring my guitar. I'll sing at both places if I feel up to it. I can give his fans a show if they're around." She answered, causing him to smile.
"That's the spirit." He replied, grabbing her guitar for her.
Jasper wasn't trying to force her to sing or perform for him or anyone else, but he believed she would feel closer to her father if she sang while "visiting" him. She was going down memory lane, and Jasper figured she could add a couple more good memories to the memories she already had of the city.
Aberdeen was a nice place, and Jasper could see why Meira liked it. Other than it being the final place she seen her father, Meira loved how beautiful the city seemed to be. Jasper had to admit, if his family didn't already have a place in Forks, he'd be more than willing to move to Aberdeen. The hotel Meira booked wasn't bad either, and the rooms were inside of a building, instead of outside of a building like some apartments and cheap hotels.
The room had two beds, a table and chairs, a nice dresser, a tv, cable, and a huge mirror near the bathroom. The bathroom was nice, but the sink was outside of the bathroom, so that was a pain in the ass. Meira knew she could rest a bit before she explored with Jasper, just to clear her mind and ready herself for a bit of emotional relief...

A/N: I hope you guys liked this chapter. So, the song in the media is the song Meira introduced Jasper to. I was thinking of using the only Nirvana song everyone seems to know, but I chose against it.
