Meira arrived at the police station the very next morning, and luckily she didn't have to wait long to see detective Davies. Davies brought Meira to an office where she needed to fill out paperwork and wait for Bean.

"Detective Cook is with Francis right now, helping her pack her things. Do you have a house and room set up for her?" Davies asked, and Meira nodded.

"Yes, I actually just bought a house. My friends are setting it up as we speak. They are buying anything she may need, and since the boys are construction workers on the rez, they'll be able to build or fix anything that is needed." Meira replied, causing the detective to nod.

Meira had gotten a text about two hours earlier from Emily that they had found a place, and she sent money to them to buy it. She also sent them money to furnish and decorate Bean's room. The guys were bringing all of Meira's things to her new house, as well as fixing anything that needed fixing. Leah and Emily also bought things for the kitchen, living room, and bathrooms.

"Will I be keeping custody of my sister?" Meira asked, and Davies nodded.

"Yes," Davies replied,"These papers are for you to adopt your sister. This will make it easier for the both of you, and your mother won't be able to take her back if she gets out of jail. Francis will not be able to visit her without your consent." Davies added, as he placed a stack of papers in front of Meira.

It took almost two hours for Meira to finish filling out papers, but by the time she was done, Bean had arrived at the police station. Cook helped Meira load all of Bean's things into her car, before the two girls drove back to La Push. The pack had decided Meira and Bean should live on the rez, so Meira and Bean could be close to them if they needed anything. This arrangement also helped with Meira and Leah's relationship.

The pack had given Meira and Bean space for the day, other than Leah and Emily. The two women were waiting at the house for the other two, and they helped the girls bring in Bean's things to her room.

"I made some food, since I figured you two would be hungry." Emily commented, and Meira smiled.

"Thank you, Emily." Meira replied, hugging her friend.

"We'll see you two tomorrow. We just wanted to make sure you two got home without any issues." Leah said, and Meira nodded.

Meira stood up and hugged Emily once again, and Emily walked out of the house. Leah walked over to Meira and placed a soft kiss to the girl's lips.

"The pack is excited to meet Francis." Leah commented, causing the younger girl to look over.

"I-I prefer Bean." Bean murmured, and Leah nodded.

"Sorry, I'll make sure to tell the others. Have a good night, Bean." Leah replied, causing Bean to smile.

"You too, Leah." She answered, waving to the older girl.

Meira brought Bean to her room later and let the girl get some rest. The next morning, the two girls got dressed and headed to the pack house for breakfast. Emily had made sure to have breakfast a little later for the girls. When the two walked inside the pack greeted Bean with open arms.

"You look so much like your sister, it's crazy." Embry commented, causing Meira to chuckle.

Meira looked more like her father, and Bean looked more like her mother, but Meira wasn't going to correct anyone. She actually hoped Bean would look more like her, instead of more like their mother. Courtney wasn't someone she wanted to be associated with.

"Em, I was hoping you could help me get Bean set up at the school." Meira commented, and Emily nodded.

"Sure, I can help. I'll just have Seth get all the papers you need, and I'll help you fill them out. We can go visit the school later this week." Emily replied, causing Meira to nod as well.

"I don't want to go to school, Meira." Bean murmured, but Meira shook her head.

"Sorry, Bean, that's one of the things the detective made sure I knew I had to sign you up for. He actually wanted me to sign you up for activities after school, but I think the boys can help occupy you." Meira said, as the boys nodded in agreement.

"We can play soccer, or we could go to the beach. There's a lot of things to do on the rez, and you can experience it all with us." Jared commented, and Meira smiled.

Meira knew Bean would fit right in, since the pack was a bunch of misfits like her and her sister. The two girls were all each other had, and Meira knew the pack was going to be the family they always needed. Bella wasn't really right in the head right now to help, and Charlie was quite busy, but Meira planned to visit them with Bean soon. They were still her family, no matter if she lived with them anymore or not.

"Do you think we could have pizza for dinner tonight?" Bean asked Meira, and Meira smiled.

"Of course, whatever you want." Meira replied, setting a glass of lemonade in front of the younger girl.

Meira wondered if her father could see Bean now that Bean lived with her. If he could, he'd be able to watch over the young girl like he was Meira. She also wondered if Bean would have the same ability as she did. Honestly, Meira kind of wanted Bean to have the same ability, since Bean didn't get to know their dad very well, but at the same time, Meira didn't want the girl to have the same ability since it caused so much stress. Meira just hoped everything worked out for her and Bean, especially when their terrible mother was involved...
