Chapter 14
Harry's P.O.V
"Alice it has been a long time" I smiled into the phone. Alice and I have been friends for years. Our mothers went to school together and live on the same road so I we are very close. She has always been there for me when I had girl problems and I always comforted her when she was having a bad training. Alice is an amazing soccer player and played for the under19 British womens football team this year. So we have kinda lost contact. Last time I heard from her was eight months ago when I discovered she was dating my other friend Alex.
"Harry, yes I just had to call you and see how you were, I have missed you" she gushed and I frowned. Alice was not normally this exciteable. She was always the hard one. She usually kept her feelings to herself. Kind of like me. That was a main reason why we got on so well together."Uh, Alice are you feeling alright?" I asked.
"Actually, that is the reason I am calling. I was wondering if I could come and stay with you for a few days?" Alice questioned. I thought for a second.
"Not meaning to sound rude here, but why?" Alice stayed at home because her team met at a training facility only one hour from where she lived. There would be no reason for her to stay in London.
"Actually, we have a few days off so I thought I would go visit Alex at uni and I needed a place to stay" she explained and I nodded my head.
"Well that should be fine, as long as you don't mind sharing with my four crazy bandmates" I tried to picture Alice with them. She had met them a few times, and her and Liam got on really well...but it could get pretty ridiculous round here. Enough to drive even an insane person mad.
"Are you still sharing with them? They won't mind will they?" Alice worried. "They will be cool with it" I reassured her. "When are you coming?"
"I was thinking in half an hour.." Alice trailed off and my eyes widened. "What? Why so early, why didn't you tell me this before?" my eyes widened and I shot off my bed.
"I was originally going to stay with one of my teammates, but she accidentally burst a pipe a few days ago and now her house is flooded. Of course she was so busy fixing it that she forgot to tell me till I turned up at her place" Alice finished and I nodded.
"Ok then, see you soon" I ended the call and raced downstairs. The boys were all sitting around the table playing cards. "We were gonna ask you to play but we saw you were on the phone" Niall explained, a questioning look in his eyes.
"No time for that, Alice is coming to stay" I blurted out. "You know, Alice from Holmes Chapel, you met her when we were all staying at my place one time" I added and I saw various expressions of recognition touch their faces.
"Well what are we waiting for? Lets get this house in tip top shape. When is she coming?" Liam took charge. "Umm, yeah thats the thing...half an hour" I smiled guiltily and everyone went into panic mode. Plates were shoved in the dishwasher, clothes and blankets tossed into rooms upstairs, I moved all my things into Louis room where he had offered me to stay so Alice could have my room. Liam had just finished luxing when there was a knock at the door. Everyone froze.
