(Nathan starts to breathe heavily as he begins to unfreeze)
(He pounds on the glass a few times, but to no avail. But then, his pod starts to open)
Computer: Critical failure in cryogenic array. All vault residents must vacate immediately
(Nathan's legs are weak, so he falls to his knees and hands. After he catches his breath, he gets up and goes over to Nora's pod)
Nathan: Come on! There has to be some kind of release!
(Nathan looks around, finds a computer with a switch next to it, and flips it, opening all of the pods)
(Nathan looks into Nora's pod and sees her still-frozen body as he takes her cold hand)
Nathan: I WILL find who did this. And I'll get Shaun back. I promise
(Nathan takes Nora's wedding ring off of her finger to always carry her with him. He starts to rub his arms to warm himself up as he walks through the halls of the vault. But then he sees a radroach in front of him)
(Nathan raises his foot and brings his heel down, crushing it's body)
Nathan: Giant roaches? What the hell...
(Nathan keeps walking through the vault, finds a baton laying on a desk, and he picks it up)
(In the next room, Nathan finds an electrical generator, and a few radroaches. Nathan picks up a wrench from a toolbox and throws it, crushing a radroach)
(A radroach tries to bite Nathan's leg, but he kicks it into the electrical field)
(A radroach tries to jump off the wall and attack Nathan, but he whacks it with the baton into the electrical field)
(After crushing a few more radroaches with the baton, Nathan comes across an office with a pistol behind the desk, and a strange looking gun stored in a locker)
Nathan: Huh. Nice
(Nathan grabs the pistol from behind the desk and uses it to shoot the lock on the case, breaking it wide open. He picks up the cryolator and revs it up. He also loads the 10mm pistol)
