Nathan: Am I dreaming?
(Nathan has a tear in his eye)
Nathan: Nora?
Nora: Nate?!
(Nathan and Nora run towards each other. Nathan lifts Nora up in a hug and spins her around a few times)
Nora: Oh my god... It's really you! What happened to you?
(Nora brushes away some dirt on Nathan's face, making him smile)
Nathan: How is this even possible?
Nora: I asked myself the same thing
Tom: Think of it like this. The hardness of a human skull plus the ice crystals from when she was frozen, equals Nora barely surviving
Nora: My life was hanging in the balance. But when Codsworth went to investigate the vault for himself, he found me and saved me
Nathan: Codsworth? Looks like he's a lifesaver after all. What else happened?
Nora: Pull up a chair and I'll tell you all about it
(Flash back, to when Nathan had already left the vault)
(Nora wakes up on a hospital bed with dizziness and a sharp pain in her head)
Codsworth: Easy there, mum. You've taken a nasty head injury. I've already removed the unnecessary debris
(Nora looks over and sees a crunched up bullet on a tray. She looks around and realizes she's in the infirmary of vault 111)
Nora: Codsworth?
Codsworth: That's me! When sir left the vault, he described a scenario most grim. Glad to see it hasn't come to pass!
Nora: Wait, Nate left!?
Codsworth: He left for diamond city to get help finding young Shaun. If you hurry you may be able to catch him
Nora: Thanks Codsworth
Codsworth: Any time, mum
(Nora leaves the vault and is horrified by the world as it is. She sees all the destruction and gasps with her hands over her mouth)
(She then goes down the street and finds her old pre war house. She checks in the gun safe and finds a double barrel shotgun with a small box of shells inside)
Nora: Shaun. Nate. I'm coming
(Nora changes out of her vault suit and sets off on her journey to diamond city, but she hears gunshots)
(She investigates the noise and finds a couple men with laser muskets fighting some raiders)
(One of the musketeers gets shot and drops his laser musket)
