(Dallas is on his way to find a part for the signal interceptor, but on his way, he takes a detour at university point because of some institute synths)
(After powering through the synths with his revolvers, Dallas start walking again, but then he hears a voice coming from a fridge)
Billy: Hey, is someone there? I can hear you
Dallas: What the-? Is someone in there?
Billy: Let me out!
Dallas: First tell me who you are
Billy: My name is Billy. Please, let me out! I've been trapped in here for so long!
Dallas: How the hell did you end up in there?
Billy: I hid in here to get away from the bombs. But there isn't a handle on the inside, and it's really dark in here
Dallas: The bombs were over two hundred years ago. How could you have been in there for that long?
Billy: I don't know how long I've been in here, but it's been a really long time
Dallas: Hold still. I'll get you out
Billy: The door's stuck. You're gonna have to force it off
Dallas: I can do that
(Dallas grips the metal door and he rips it right off it's hinges, and a ghoul child comes out of the fridge)
Billy: Ugh... My legs are so stiff. And it's really bright out here. I haven't seen the sun since I got in here. Thank you so much!
Dallas: You're welcome, kid. Safe travels
Billy: I just wanna go home. Can you help me? Please?
Dallas: Where did you live?
Billy: I live in quincy. Or, at least I used to before everything got wrecked. Everything's so different
Dallas: Then lets go find your home
Billy: I want to find my mom and dad
Dallas: They might have survived and become ghouls like you. If so, we can find them. Stay close, this place will be full of guys with guns
(Dallas starts walking towards quincy with Billy, but then a man in combat armor walks up to him)
Bullet: Cute kid. Is he for sale?
Dallas: Excuse me?
Bullet: How much. For the kid
Dallas: Depends. How much is a ghoul child worth?
Bullet: Plenty. I'll give you 200 caps. He can fit into small spaces. Plus ghouls don't need to eat, they don't age, and they're immune to radiation. You can work em real hard. Now do you want to sell the kid or not?
Dallas: 500. Take it or leave it
Billy: What?! You can't sell me!
Bullet: That's outrageous! Done
(Bullet hands Dallas 500 caps and takes Billy's hand forcefully)
Bullet: Come on kid-
(The second Bullet has his back turned, Dallas shoots him in the back of the head with his revolver, blasting out most of the contents of Bullet's head)
(Then Dallas takes the rest of Bullet's money out of his pocket)
Billy: You sold me. And then you saved me. Why?
