"It's said in a boy's social life there is that day where everything goes the right way. You go on a friendly date with a girl, visit shops together and maybe, if you're not a jerk, she'll let you reach third base eventually." Y/N was speaking to himself.

"This is clearly what's not going to happen tonight..." He sighed, being grabbed by a gentle yet strong grip.

"Would you hurry up? I've enough of waiting for a slow poke like you." Nino was dragging him as the two were visiting the shopping district.

"I got it! Just don't pull me or I'm going home at once! So you'll have to find a present for Fuutarou all by yourself. It's enough for me buying him a dictionary or something like." The boy was protesting.

"That place! They might have a good choice of clothing." They entered a clothing store of a famous brand.

"How do I look?" Y/N was trying the chosen outfit.

"Not bad, but with Fuu-kun's eyes the contrast will be better." Nino was pondering on what to buy.

"Just asking... me and Fuutarou have quite the different build. How do you plan on choosing something suiting him?" He asked.

"Easy task, since you're shorter I'll pick the same cloth but two sizes bigger." Nino was boasting about her sharp eye.

"I don't know if you enjoy hurt my feelings or you're simply too dumb to realize your words..." Y/N was offended.

"Who knows? Now try this other, Little Eagle." Nino mocked.

"Alright, this is the best choice..." She was preparing the clothes after a tough selection.

"Not to ruin your dream but these things are pretty expensive. Have you forgotten you are no more the spoiled daughter of a physician?" Y/N was checking the price.

"Grr... Good point! I forgot and got carried away." Nino was looking her wallet, face red due shame.

"Ha ha ha... You're kinda cute when you act embarrassed. Did you regret leaving that amazing house and your dad's financial stability?" Y/N was laughing.

"Not at all! Guess I'll look for something else... Fuu-kun won't care if the present is not from a famous store." The girl was about to put back the chosen suit.

"You know? It would be a shame after all the time I acted as a mannequin. I'll be the one buying these clothes for Fuutarou but we can give them to him together." Y/N decided firmly.

"But that's more than twenty-thousand yen! Can you afford such expense?" Nino was protesting.

"Do not worry, my dear. I spent more on booze last week." The boy smiled, pulling out his credit card.

"Okay, now I'm really worried about your lifestyle..." Nino facepalmed.

"If we've done I guess it's time to part away..." Y/N was eager to return his place, looking the mall's exit with hopes.

"Sigh, I really appreciate your help but I still want to buy something for Fuu-kun on my own." Nino was wandering between shelves.

"How about scented candles? They're great for soothing exhaustion and tiredness." Nino was looking household articles.

"That's good choice but Gwyneth Paltrow's brand is better. Try asking if they have a stock here..." Y/N suggested.

"We're finally out that hell!" Y/N was over the moon as the two were returning home.

"You're overreacting. We only stayed an hour and half..." Nino commented.
