Elizabeth POV

It had been a couple weeks and he hadn't even kissed me Since lady merlin told us about the pregnancy, had I done something wrong? Was he upset with me? And on top of that its time to go back to Liones How were we supposed to tell my father and sisters about this? And on top of that I was starting to have a bump from the pregnancy. it was small but I loved how i was already showing signs, but I was also SO scared, I wanted to cuddle with meliodas and to be able to kiss him but..... For some reason he was distancing himself from me. it really hurt knowing he was avoiding me but I was so desperately trying to stay calm because of what lady merlin said. My thoughts were cut off by ban.

"hey princess are you okay?" ban asked curiously,

"oh! Yes sorry I guess i got stuck in thought" i said embarrassed,

"don't be sorry you just looked a little.......sad...... What were you thinking about if I may ask?" ban asked raising a brow.
I decided to tell him after looking around to make sure meliodas was not within hearing range because I didn't want to upset him.
I sighed.
"umm actually I was curious about something" I asked calmly,

"oh? Okay what can I do to assist your curiosity?" he asked with a grin.

"umm do you uh do you know why meliodas has been avoiding me?" I asked trying not to tear up,

"he's avoiding you? Oh thats why he's been sleeping down here on the floor that little asshole!" ban snapped

"oh please don't be mad at him!" i pleaded,

"Fine but if you don't address it I will, he has no right to be stressing his girlfriend.... No, his pregnant Fiance out over whatever his problem is" ban said angrily,

"okay" I said calmly,

Time Skip noon

Meliodas came in with a fresh kill for ban to cook and after he set it down I went right for him,

"meliodas may I speak with you?" I asked softly,

"sorry I have to make sure to help with passing out the foo-"  ban cut him off,

'no cap'n I got it you can go" ban said glancing at me,
Meliodas sighed.

"okay I'll meet you upstairs' he said looking down,

I went upstairs and after a couple minutes someone knocked,

"come in" I said calmly and meliodas walked in closing the door behind him,

"Hey" meliodas said blankly,

"hi meliodas" I exclaimed,

"so what was it you needed to talk about?" meliodas asked,

"umm please don't be mad but........ Why........ Why are you avoiding me" I asked finally breaking down crying,

He immediately pulled me into an embrace.
"shh shh don't be sad I've got you and I'm not mad or avoiding you" he said reassuringly seemingly shocked at my tears,

then what are you doing? Have i done something wrong? I just don't understand what's wrong" I said as he tried to stop my crying,

"hey why are you crying? Because you think I'm mad at you for something? Have forgotten how we've gotten here? You told me you loved me and do you remember what I said in return?" meliodas asked softly, I looked up at his beautiful emerald green eyes which were filled with love, I smiled at him with a blush remembering what he had said.
