Baji Kohaku P.O.V.

I put my pencil between my teeth as I tie my hair into a messy bun. I then take my piece of charcoal from the easement and tilt my head slightly as I make soft strokes. Mother's birthday is coming up so I'm drawing a picture of me and Keisuke when we were little. I glance at the picture I took with, before turning back at the drawing. "Kochin!" I hear Mikey say cheerily as soon as I hear the door open. "The answer is no" I say taking the pencil from my teeth. "You haven't even heard our question" Draken says. I turn my head to see Mikey, Draken with Mitsuya behind them. "I'm not going to help you in the fight against Valhalla" I say. "We could really use your help, now that Baji is gone" Mikey says. "I understand, but I'm still saying no" I say, scratching my cheek with the back of my hand as I see Draken look at my earring. "Are you going to help Valhalla?" Draken asks. "I'm not." I say. "And I'm going to tell you the same thing I told Keisuke, the same thing I told Mitsuya and that weird Pehyan guy" I say. "I'll be there, but for moral support. I won't fight with Toman, because I don't want to fight my brother. I won't fight with Valhalla because I don't want to fight you guys. So yes I'll be there and no I won't fight" I say. "We hoped you would knock some sense into him.." Draken says. "I already tried" I say turning back to my drawing. "Do you know whats going on?" Mikey asks. I don't respond as I blend the charcoal with my ring finger. "I'm not sure" I say without looking up. "But I blame Kazutora. He's been nothing but trouble for Keisuke" I say. I stop what I'm doing when I feel hands on my shoulders, and a thumb stroking the back of my neck. "You would tell me if you knew, wouldn't you?" Mitsuya asks behind me. I want to, believe me I do... and are you sure you want to do this? From the corner of my eyes I glance at Mikey and Draken and it seems that Draken already made the connection. "I would" I say. "You need to leave. I'm starting to get really pissed" I say. "I'll walk you guys out" Mitsuya says as he lets go of me, and walks away.

I glance at Keisuke's Valhalla bomber jacket. "Did you have to wear that?" I ask. "You don't hear me complaining about your fashion choices" Keisuke says. "There's nothing wrong with my fashion choices" I say, stepping onto the escalator while looking down on my t-shirt, jeans and leather jacket. "There's nothing wrong with mine either" Keisuke says. I don't respond. "Do you think okaasan will like the perfume?" He asks. I look up at him. "I think so. It smelled good" I say, stepping off the escalator and turning left. "Shouldn't we do more?" Keisuke asks. "Why don't you do more? You made her cry.. I help her a lot" I say. "That's been almost a year ago!" Keisuke says. I turn around to see him crouched down petting a cat, with a gentle smile on his face. You're so misunderstood..most of the time. "What's your dream, Kei?" I ask. "Dream?" He asks when he looks up at me. "What do you want to do when you grow up?" I ask. "Hmm I don't know" Keisuke says as he looks down on the cat again, still petting it. "Maybe own a pet shop or something." He says. "It'll be hard work" I say. "But I'll have you to help me" Keisuke says. I chuckle slightly. "If you ask nicely" I say amused. Keisuke finally stands up and throws his arm around my shoulders, resting his hand on my chest. "You're my brother, it's your obligation" he says. "What if I have other dreams?" I ask amused. "You can do both" he says and I laugh. "I can't be at two places at once" I say. "Then you'll help me" Keisuke says. "Glad you decided that for me" I say, shaking his arm off me and stepping onto the escalator toward the subway. "I'd just like to have you with me. I don't like that you're not going to the same middle school. Perhaps not even the same high school" Keisuke says. I smile. "What's this? You never express these things" I say amused. Keisuke scoffs and looks away embarrassed. "Guess I just got reminded that you're the only one that's always there" he mumbles. I chuckle. "Don't worry. I'll always be with you, even if we don't go to the same school, or work different jobs" I say as we walk toward the platform of the subway.

I lean my head against Mitsuya's shoulder, as we sit on the floor, our backs against my bed. I pull up my knee as my sketchbook is leaning against my thigh. "Like this?" I ask as I finish a line of a dress. I don't know if Mitsuya heard, but I heard Keisuke coming home and rummaging about. "More like this" Mitsuya says as he takes the pencil from my fingers, making sure he strokes mine in the process, draws the line slightly differently before erasing mine. "I suck at this" I mumble. "You're doing fine" Mitsuya chuckles. "You're doing better than expected to be honest" he says. "Thanks" I say dryly. Before Mitsuya can answer, Keisuke kicks open the door of my bedroom. He's wearing his gym shorts and carries his shirt in his hand. "Where is it?!" He shout. "Where is what?" I ask, raising my head from Mitsuya's shoulder. "The peyang yakisoba. I was saving it! You ate it didn't you?!" Keisuke growls. "Why in the world would I eat it, when I don't even like that flavor" I say. Keisuke pulls a face. "We've only got the nasty spicy chicken flavor left" he says. "Why would I eat the peyang when I like the spicy chicken hmm? Ever think that okaasan might want it?" I ask. "If that's all please leave" I add. It appears that only now he notices Mitsuya. Keisuke leaves the room, slamming the door behind him. "Well...that was awkward.." Mitsuya says softly. "I know, I'm sorry" I say, looking at him. "I told you it would be better if you didn't come" I say. "I know, and I knew. But it's still worth it" he says, pressing his lips against mine. I put my sketchbook on the floor and wrap my arms around Mitsuya as I kiss back. Mitsuya brings his hand into my hair as our tongues dance. "Hmm" he mumbles as I softly nibble his lower lip as the kiss stops. I smile when he kisses me again. "I thought you wanted to do homework" I whisper teasingly. "There's something I want to do more" Mitsuya says seductively. I hear Keisuke's footsteps again so I quickly push Mitsuya away, before Keisuke kicks in the door, this time he is wearing his shirt. He throws a plastic bag at Mitsuya's feet, before slamming the door shut behind him again. Neither one of us has to touch the bag to see it's his Toman uniform. I press a kiss on Mitsuya's cheek when I see the sadness on his face.
