Baji Kohaku P.O.V.

"Thank you for agreeing to come" Mitsuya, Mikey and Draken are sitting in the steps to the Musashi temple. "I wouldn't call it agreeing"  I say softly as I put my hands in my pockets. "But you came" Draken says "I did" I answer. "We missed you at the last gathering" Mikey says. "Did you?" I mumble dryly. Neither one of them responds to my sarcasm. "You finally joined us, of course we expect you to be there.." Draken says. "Like Keisuke was always there" I say, taking my hands out of my pockets and cross my arms in front of my chest. "Now tell me, what am I really doing here?" I ask. "If you have concerns, please tell us instead of not showing up" Mikey says. "I don't have concerns" I say. "I am confused." I add, and feel that I am getting angry again. "How can you so easily take in that other gang, while they're the cause of the death of one of your own?" I ask. "Here I am still grieving the loss of my twin brother, I accepted your offer because he would have wanted it so I show up. And what happens? I get to see this!" I say, I quickly put my hands in my pockets again as I'm afraid I'll punch someone. "Toman might be bigger now, it might me stronger now" I say. "But it's compromised. It's lost it's core value" I say. This seems to surprise all three. "Don't worry, I'm not going to quit already. But I won't be here when they are. I'll hear about it anyway." I say. I look away and rub the back of my neck. "Call me when you need me for a fight or something and I'll show up. But that's about all I'm willing to do for Toman. But only because of Keisuke" I say, and without waiting for an answer I walk away. I feel horrible when I walk toward the subway. "What do you want?" I snap as I pick up my ringing cellphone. "So hostile..." Ran says amused. "I'm sorry" I say rubbing my forehead. "I just feel shitty" I add. "I'm sorry to hear that, cute little prey" Ran says. I smile slightly. "What can I do for you?" I ask. "I just wanted to hear your voice" Ran says. "Right" I scoff amused. "Well, at least try to cheer me up then" I say.

I lean on my hand as I watch the trees and houses fly by. "I'm sorry you had to find your mother like that.." I turn my head to look at my uncle, my mothers younger brother behind the steering wheel. "I'm sorry that you have to take care of your cousin" I say. "What?" He asks looking at me, then quickly looks at the road then looks at me. "Don't be sorry. We love you. Of course We'll take care of you" he says. I look out the window again. "It'll be a little commute to your school though. Will that be okay or would you rather transfer to a school in Roppongi?" He asks. "The commute is fine. I hadn't decided on a high school yet, I guess I'll go to one in Roppongi" I say. "We'll help you look" Uncle says. "I can get you into one before spring" he adds. "Thank you" I say. Uncle parks his car in front of a house. Guess this will be the first time living in a house... I step out of the car and look up at the house. "It isn't much, but it's home. I hope it'll be that for you too" uncle says. "It's bigger than moms apartment" I say. Uncle chuckles. "I have a better job than your mom. Thanks to her though." He says. I look to the neighbors house as the door opens and am a little horrified when I see Ran and his brother walking out. As soon as he sees me he smiles delighted. I'm in trouble.. "good evening neighbor!" Ran says. Uncle looks up. "Hi there" he says. "You've got a guest?" Rindou asks. "Yes. This is my cousin, he'll be staying with us from now on. Be nice to him yeah?" Uncle says as he opens the trunk of his car. "Oh we will.." Ran says. "Let's get your stuff in" Uncle says. I help him carry a couple of boxes and a suitcase inside. A little three year old girl runs up to me. "Ko-Ko" she says, stretching her arms up to me. "You remember Yua?" Uncle asks. "I do" I lift her up. "What do you want?" I ask, but she pushes her face into my shirt giggling. Aunt walks into the hallway, wiping her hands on her apron. "Welcome Kohaku. And I'm sorry again" she says. "Thanks" I say softly.

Mitsuya sighs deeply as he leans his hand on his chin. "Are you kidding me? Right beside them?" He asks. "I'm not. As if that guy wasn't annoying enough, he's my neighbor now" I say, pushing my straw on my juice carton. "I'm sorry. The situation is difficult enough without me complaining" Mitsuya says. I shrug. "It's alright. I think I lost her already, the day Keisuke died. There were days she couldn't even look at me. I do get now why she pushed me on living" I say. Mitsuya frowns slightly. "I'm sorry" he says softly. "I am happy to see you get a healthy lunch again" he adds. I look down at my bento. "My uncle and aunt are very hovering.. but my cousin is still small so she insisted on making my lunch as well" I say. "That's nice. How old is your cousin?" Mitsuya asks. "She's three" I say. "Cute" Mitsuya says and I smile slightly. "She is.. kinda" I say. "You're wearing your hair down again" Mitsuya says. I stroke it behind my ear. "It's time again" I say. "So you're not going to cut it?" He asks amused and I chuckle. "No" I say. "I think your fanclub would be angry if you would" Mitsuya says amused and I glance at the group of girls a little up ahead who immediately start squealing. "Maybe I will cut it then" I say, making him laugh. "Yo" Pehyan says as he sits down next to Mitsuya. "Do you really have to wear such a hideous shirt? It hurts my eyes" I say annoyed. "What was that?!" Pehyan says immediately aggressive. "It's ugly" I say. "How come the teachers allow it?" I ask. "They don't. He gets detention all the time" Mitsuya laughs. Pehyan clicks his tongue annoyed as he starts his lunch. "But what about high school?" Mitsuya asks suddenly, as if he just thinks about it. "My uncle says he'll get me into one in Roppongi" I say. "Probably one with a great arts program" I add.  "That really sucks" Mitsuya says. "We'll be alright" I say, smiling encouraging. "You shouldn't be the one saying that" Mitsuya mumbles annoyed. I chuckle. "I have to try and stay positive don't I?" I ask as I close the lid of my bento after finishing my lunch. "You don't have to be strong around us" Mitsuya says and I shrug. "It's in my nature" I say.
