29. Not In Front Of The Rest

After the short disagreement between the two, YuXin looked at Kun who's making himself comfortable in her room with no ounce of moving himself.

"Kun Kun, are you planning to stay here with me?"

"Huh.. Are you chasing me away already?" He heaved a sigh and acted disappointed. "Looks like I'm an unwanted person."

Dragging his feet slowly, he lowered his head dejectedly and walked towards the door.

"Aiya, I don't mean it like that." YuXin held on to his wrist hurriedly and stopped him in his track.

"Its just.. Sleeping together.." she stammered shyly with a faint blush forming on her cheek.

Catching the shy look on her face, Kun smirked in response and replied in a casual tone. "It's not like we didn't share a bed before."

"That... We are just sharing a bed, nothing else." YuXin replied hurriedly and walked off to the bathroom.

Arriving at the shoot on the beach, Kun appeared to be a changed person, carrying his normal professional smile, paying extra attention to his own expression. He even stopped himself from frowning when he saw how close YuXin was sticking to Ying Hao while adjusting his clothing for the shoot.

He even took the effort to cater lunch from the popular restaurant at the area for the staff.

"Executive Liu definitely has her way with our MD."

"It's totally night and day comparing how he was yesterday."

"Yeah. He is treating us so well today. Wow, this food looks too exquisite to be eaten. I wonder what executive Liu said to our MD though."

"I don't know, but whatever it is I'm glad Executive Liu is here."

The two person who were currently the topic of discussion were now seated on a table at the side, eating their lunch away from the other crew members.

Looking at the appetising dishes in front of her, YuXin couldn't wait and started digging in with a satisfied smile on her face with every bite of the food. She didn't realise she's starving until she saw the dishes in front of her.

"You're like a little kitten."Kun smiled affectionately towards her. "There's a crumb on your face."

He reached his hand out in an attempt to help her remove it when YuXin slapped his hand away lightly, "Not in front of the rest."

Even though the two of them weren't deliberately hiding their relationship, YuXin didn't feel comfortable showing affection between the two of them in front of the rest.

Pressing his lips with a disgruntled look, Kun nodded as YuXin wiped away the remnants on her own.

Dark clouds started drifting above and the sun that was shining above was at risk of being covered by the clouds.

"Hurry up and round off this shoot!" the director instructed loudly as the rest of the crew started rushing around on the beach, trying their best to complete the shoot before the dark storm clouds ruin their progress.

Before the director could say cut, rain started pouring down without any warning and they started scrambling around, trying to rescue all the equipments indoor.

YuXin and Kun also rushed in to help and they were not spared from the sudden downpour.

"Director Cai, it's okay. We can handle the rest." A crew assistant quickly handed a large towel to Kun and stopped him from entering the pour rain outside. After all, no one dared to hold the responsibility if Kun fell sick.

Kun stretched his neck and peered out anxiously, searching for signs of YuXin in the rain as he tried to maneuver himself away from the assistant. All he was focused on now was her well-being.

When he finally saw the small figure running back to the indoor room lugging two bags on her hands.

Kun brushed the assistant aside and rushed towards YuXin as she handed the bags over to the other crew members.

YuXin was thoroughly soaked to say the least. Her loose pale blue blouse was now sticking to her body being soaked in the rain, clinging on to the curves of her chest. As the blouse turned more translucent from being drenched, her bra could be seen peeking through the clothing and that made Kun gritted his teeth tightly. No way in the world would he let other people see his girlfriend in this state.

With the towel he had in hand, he wrapped it around YuXin protectively with a worried frown on his face.

"Are you feeling cold?" Kun rubbed the towel against her back, trying to warm her up. "Is there another towel?" Kun raised his voice and the assistant quickly handed him another towel with his mouth slightly agape.

Kun took the towel and started patting it down on YuXin's hair while lamenting softly, "You're gonna catch a cold."

Seeing Kun's hair dripping wet from the rain as well, YuXin took down the towel from her head and started patting his hair dry worriedly, "You're wet as well, it'd be bad if you're sick."

While the two lovebirds were busy fussing over each other, the rest of the crew members stood around them wordlessly, raising their brows and eyeing one another curiously. That certainly doesn't look like a mere boss and subordinate relationship.

Realising the silence around them, YuXin glanced around and realised the multiple eyes on her and Kun. She quickly dropped her hands and looked down in embarrassment with her face flushing pink. Kun shifted his eyes away from YuXin and cleared his throat as he addressed the rest of the crew members.

"Let's go back to our room and wash up. The rain doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. We can round up the shoot for today."

Kun wrapped his around around YuXin's shoulder and led her off, leaving the rest of the crew members stunned momentarily before chatters started filling up the room.

"What did we just see??"

"Are the two of them dating? It certainly seems like so.."

"Now I know why Director Cai had a 180 degree change after talking to Executive Liu."

"The two of them look good together though."

"Director Cai is such a boyfriend material. Did you see how he just wrapped the towel around executive Liu?"
