Twenty Three

"Even if the forest is scary, I'm never believing that you're a vampire who will make me scared. Maybe a cute vampire, but not a scary one." Jihyo laughed.

"I thought I got you." Jungwon laughed with her.

They then started walking again but never found a path. They seemed to be going more into the forest and the trees seemed to get thicker and thicker.

Suddenly they heard a sound of thunder.

"It's going to rai-" Jungwon was about to say but Jihyo cut him off.

"Don't say it. If you say it out loud, it'll become true" She said again. However, the rain started pouring down.

They ran and fortunately found a very big tree which could cover them.

The two of then sat and stared at the rain.

Jihyo noticed Jungwon shivering a little so she asked, "Are you cold?"

"No"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes" He replied. "Ok maybe I'm a little cold."

"You know what you should do when you're cold?" Jihyo said.

"What?"

"You should play a slapping competition. That'll heat the cheeks up." She said and laughed. "Want to do it?"

"No no no" He refused while laughing.

"What if they don't find us?" Jihyo asked all of sudden as they were staring at the rain drops falling.

Jungwon stared at her for a little while and then went and held her thumb.

"What are you doing?" Jihyo laughed.

Jungwon laughed with her but kept holding her thumb. "Don't be scared. I'm here with you." He said which gave Jihyo a weird feeling in her stomach.

The rain was now starting to stop. Jihyo got up and said, "So, since we have no idea where to go. Let's not waste time and explore each direction. There has to be a path somewhere."

"Ok" Jungwon said as they started walking again.

They walked and walked and walked. It seemed like there would not be a path again but Jihyo suddenly heard voices.

Jungwon and Jihyo looked at each other and then started running towards the direction of the voices. They ran and got out of the forest to find Jay and Ni-ki bickering.

"Finally!!!!" Jihyo screamed.

"Where did you people come from?" Jay asked.

"We were lost." Jungwon answered.

"Who knew a day would come when you're bickering would bring me joy" Jihyo laughed with Jungwon.

"I think all the flags are found now, let's go back." Jay said.

The four walked back as Jihyo explained how they had gotten lost.

"That's what you get when you don't listen properly."

"Yeah yeah, by the way how many flags did you two get?" Jihyo asked.

"We got three." Ni-ki answered.

"So who's song choice are you going to go with?" Jihyo asked.

"That's the reason we were bickering before." Jay said.

"We can give you one of our flags." Jihyo said. "We have five."

"Really?" Ni-ki said.

"Are you okay with it Jungwon?" Jihyo asked the boy.

"I'm okay with it" he said.

"This is why you're my favourite." Jay said as he gave Jungwon a hug.

"Jay! I'm your favourite!" Ni-ki said as he joined Jay and Jungwon's hug.

Jihyo stood and waited for them.

"What are you doing?" Jungwon said as he pulled Jihyo into their group hug.

Jihyo laughed as they hugged. "You smell good" she blurted out.

The three boys stared at her for some seconds. Jungwon didn't know what to say as Jay and Ni-ki giggled. Jihyo then ran away in embarassment.

She finally met up with Yujin and Sunoo.

"What happened to your face? Did someone slap you? Why are you so red?" Yujin said as she also ran to Jihyo.

"I embarassed myself." Jihyo said as she drank one of the bottles of water that were kept on the table next to them.

"That was actually mine." Sunghoon said as he walked to Jihyo.

Jihyo choked as she heard him. "Sorry sorry" She said.

"But you know that he put his mouth on that bottle right." Sunoo said.

"Don't make it worse than it already is, please." Jihyo said as she ran away to get another bottle of water.

"What's going on with her?" Sunoo asked Yujin before she ran after Jihyo.

She found Jihyo staring at a tree and drinking water in a corner. She laughed at the sight.

"What's going on?" Yujin asked as she approached Jihyo.

"So somehow, I hugged Jungwon." Jihyo said.

"What?" Yujin said.

"No it was more like a group hug and I was next to him. Then while hugging, I said that..." She hesitated.

"Said what?"

"I said that he smelt good...Ahhh" Jihyo said now leaning her head on the tree.

"So my little girlie is already making a move."

"Noooooo it's not like that. It was more like a you smell good oh I never knew... Ahhh" Jihyo said as she crouched down. "Find me a hole and let me rest in peace."

"It's ok, now let's go and exchange our flags for songs." Yujin said as she pulled her friend up.

Even though Jihyo wanted to avoid Jungwon, she couldn't. He was there talking with Jay and Ni-ki. Since, Jihyo had promised to give one of their flags to Jay and Ni-ki, she had to walk up to them.

"Here you go." She said as she gave one flag to them.

"Thank youuu Jihyo" Ni-ki said as he pinched her cheeks.

"I'll go tell them our songs." She said to Jungwon and walked away.

Jungwon then ran after her. "Wait let's go together." He said and they walked together to the teacher and gave the flags as well as their song choices to them.

They were then walking back to their friends when Jihyo asked "So what perfume do you use?"

Jungwon stopped and thought for a second. "Why?Are you planning on getting the same one?" He smiled.

"Noooooo" Jihyo said and quickly ran away to Yujin.

"I really need the hole to hide in now." She whispered to Yujin which made her laugh.

Everyone then ate dinner and went back to their rooms to sleep. Jihyo stared at the ceiling thinking about what had happened that day. She slept again thinking about the particular boy.
