"Happy birthday" Jihyo smiled at Jungwon while handing him the bag.

"You want me to give the shoes to Sunghoon?" Jungwon asked with a sigh.

"Noooo these are for you" Jihyo said with a laugh.

"What?"

"Happy birthday Jungwon" Jihyo gave him a hug and ran into the house before he could say anything.

"Did I make a mistake?" Jihyo asked herself as she approached Yujin and Sunoo.

"Where did you go?" Sunghoon came to her and asked.

"Ah just...here and there hahaha" Jihyo said while waving to Sunoo and Yujin.

"You took so long the party is almost over" Sunoo told Jihyo.

"What?"

"How can you say the party is almost over when we haven't even cut the cake?" Ni-ki exclaimed as he took the cake and brought it in front of Jungwon.

"Everyone gather around!" Jay shouted.

Jake put a birthday hat on Jungwon while Heeseung lit the candles.

"Happy birthday to you-" Jihyo started but no one joined along. "Hey everyone has to sing! Otherwise-"

"Ok ok" Yujin said while covering Jihyo's mouth.

Everyone sang the song together. Jungwon kept on laughing at Jihyo who sang the most enthusiastically.

They then ate the cake and had some fun until it was late at night. Only the close friends were left now

"We should go now" Sunoo said while standing up.

"Yup" Jake said while packing up.

"Wait!" Jungwon said as everyone was going out the door. He ran up to his room and got a jacket.

"Where are you going?" Jay asked.

"I'll walk Jihyo home"

"It's already late you don't need to do that" Jihyo said while pushing Jungwon inside his house.

"Yeah I can walk her home." Sunghoon said.

"Stay at home, we can't make the birthday boy walk in the cold" Heeseung said.

Jungwon didn't listen to any of them and started walking out. All of them stared at him being rebellious for the first time.

"What? I need to buy something from that area, that's the only reason I said I would walk her home." Jungwon shrugged at them as the cold wind hit his face.

"Ok ok whatever, let's go!!! I need to transfer today's photos to my computer" Ni-ki said as he started running.

"Yah! Come back! You're going to trip running in the dark" Jay said as he started chasing the boy.

"Then we'll see you later. Bye!" Jake said before running away.

Everyone walked together for sometime until they reached a crossroads.

"We'll see you in school then bye" Heeseung said before walking off with Sunoo and Yujin.

Jihyo, Sunghoon and Jungwon walked together for sometime until Sunghoon had to take a different route.

"I have to take this route, bye" Sunghoon said before he gloomily went all alone.

"I think you should be walking him home instead" Jihyo laughed as they watched Sunghoon disappear into the distance.

"He'll be fine" Jungwon laughed.

The two walked in silence for some time until they reached Jihyo's house.

"I'll head in now. Thanks for walking me back home" Jihyo said. "Bye!"

"Bye" Jungwon said as he stared at her walking into her house.

The girl soon came back running to Jungwon.

"Hey! Wait!"

Jungwon turned around to see her panting.

"Agh! How did you walk away so fast." Jihyo said in between breaths.

"What is it?" Jungwon chuckled.

"Here" she gave him a chocolate bar. "Happy birthday once again" she said while patting his head.

"You ran to give me this?" Jungwon laughed.

"Of course! Ok then.. I'll really go now. Bye!"

Jungwon gave her a tight hug before she could turn towards her house again.

"Thank you Jihyo" Jungwon said while holding her hands.

Jihyo felt her cheeks turn pink but she also felt a sense of deja vu when Jungwon held her hands.

'Has this happened before? What am I thinking? Of course Jungwon has never held my hands'

"Oops sorry" Jungwon quickly retreated his hand fearing that she was uncomfortable.

"No no it's ok I mean uh yeah" Jihyo didn't know what to say. "Uh you should go now. It's late. Thanks for walking me home."

"Bye!" Jungwon poked her dimple before walking away.

Jihyo walked into her house to find her mother drinking tea. Her mother raised an eyebrow once she noticed Jihyo's cheeks were red as the strawberries she was eating.

"So did anything happen just now?" Her mom asked.

"Oh my gosh you scared me!" Jihyo exclaimed. "When did you and dad get back home?"

"When you were in school."

"Huh how did you get in? I remember locking the door"

"I'm one of the owners of this house, I have a spare key of course"

"Ohh"

"Why is my daughter redder than a stop sign?" Jihyo's father asked as he sat down with Jihyo's mother and started eating the strawberries.

"It's the...uh...cold wind of course. I'll go wash up now. Bye!!" Jihyo ran up to her room.

"Do you think our daughter is in...." Jihyo's mother asked her husband.

"In love? Our Jihyo? No chance" Jihyo's father laughed but quickly stopped when he realised his wife was serious. "No what? No!"

"I already expected this day to come but I guess you didn't. All fathers are the same. I remember when my dad-"

"Noooooooooooooooooooo" Jihyo's father said with a strawberry in his mouth.

Upstairs, Jihyo got shocked by her father's sudden shout but assumed her father was just being dorky.

She layed down on her bed and stared blushing again remembering that she hugged Jungwon two times. She screamed into the pillow and fell asleep few moments later.
