People I don't feel like explaining will be in the media. Just trying something new, I might eventually put everyone who's not my original character into the media.

Norman was sitting cross legged on a blue mat on a platform sticking out of the floor. He was meditating away sleepiness emitted from the pokemon in front of him, a Slakoth. It's a small sloth like pokemon with a fleshy pig nose, belly and eye lids it usually sleeps 20 hours a day but it's awake right now.

"Slak..." It yawned at Norman.

Feeling a wave of drowsiness wash over him Norman closed his eyes, took a deep breath and focused on energizing himself, slowly he could feel the yawn's effects fade. When he opened his eyes again he could see the door on his left start to open and a challenger walk through.

"Yo, your other door is a terrible idea." John was that challenger. Since John wasn't able to actually bust through the wall without Seedot's Bide, which was unavailable, he had to go back and make his way along the right path.

"See." Seedot agreed. Oh, and before heading down the right path John made way to the Pokemon Center to get the acorn healed up.

"You made your way to both doors? Heh, getting to know your enemy?" Norman chuckled and picked the Slakoth up and draping it over his shoulder.

"All I needed to know about getting my first badge here is that you're a normal type user who made one of the vital doors to challenging you a wall. Guess which one of those pieces of information I was missing?" John was still rather annoyed about "that".

"If you can't bust through a wall then there is no way you can possibly beat me. Alright Slakoth, nap time is over for you!" Norman started the battle by sliding/flinging Slakoth by the arms across the floor to the middle of the room.

"Trapinch, You've got this!" John opened up his bag and pulled Trapinch out, who was covered in scratches and nicks in it's carapace from the previous battles.

"Trapinch!" the bug barked in confidence, no doubt from winning the previous battles, and took place before Slakoth.

"Then let's begin this, and end it!" Norman shouted declaring the battle as officially started.

"Trapinch take care of this fool like the one we beat in the Recovery room!" John already got Trapinch his orders and the little ant lion ran at Slakoth head on.

"Slakoth! Grab onto it's mouth and fling yourself onto it's back then hold on for a bit!" Norman barked a counter move to Slakoth, who grabbed onto Trapinch's head when it got close enough and pulled itself onto Trapinch's back where it promptly closed it eyes and slept.

"Trrr." Trapinch's mouth was forced shut by Slakoth's feet which were holding onto it's maw as if it were a jungle branch.

"Trapinch! You're going to need to get that meat pillow off of you. Try your best while I think a bit!" John expected the lazy sloth in the recovery room to be identical to this one, but the Leader's pokemon were battled trained. A Trapinch isn't built to take pinned attacks onto it's back due to a split in it's shell.

"Trr!" Still being muffled by the "dead" sloth Trapinch went to go brush against a wall and pinch Slakoth's legs, but Slakoth responded even in it's sleep by holding onto Trapinch's back legs, tripping it and making it fall onto it's stomach.

"Slakoth's ability, Truant, keeps it from moving every other turn as it rests. However it can still move while the ability is active! Now Slakoth, use Yawn!" Norman's over dramatic order was matched only by the adorableness of Slakoth yawning, still asleep, and holding onto Trapinch's legs tighter as it snuggled up.
