LOCATION
THE SMP.

IT WAS EARLY MORNING with moderate sunshine. you decided to sleep in bad's room after a lot of contemplation and complaining from sapnap. bad crafted your own bed and placed it near his. for the rest of the day yesterday, you hung around bad, learning how to bake and seeing his childish excitement towards books containing cooking recipes, reading them to you like you were in pre-school.

you also got close with sapnap over the course of time, him promising you to give you a tour of the smp eventually. now that you've woken up and got dressed, you went downstairs to meet with dream in the kitchen, bad already awake and willing to cook breakfast for the two of you. according to dream, george and sapnap don't wake up until later on in the day.

after breakfast, bad gave you some cooked foods for the road and you followed dream out the door and onto the familiar wooden path from when you first got here. dream exchanged some casual conversation with you on the way before a comfortable silence emerged between you two, admiring the calm environment with a few animals walking around and crossing the path. "so how was everyone? you like them?" dream asked. you nodded with a smile. "yeah. your friends are a bit crazy but i like them." dream smiled at your response. "that's good. did you sleep well?"

you hummed and nodded in confirmation, your body feeling surprisingly fresh and full of life for waking up earlier than usual. when you noticed that you were diverging off the wooden path, dream led you back into the woods from yesterday, not walking in that deep. he eventually slowed down to a halt and turned around to face you, watching you stop as well. "so i'm gonna teach you the basics of how to get materials and what not. you'll need to know a few things about how this world operates. is that okay?" you nodded at dream's words, leaning back and forth on the heels of your feet out of excitement and eagerness.

"first things first: you gotta get wood. wood is always around you and it's the most important thing to get before you can craft anything else." dream explained. he went on to walk up to an oak tree, stepping closely beside it. "so all you have to do is punch it." dream demonstrated, punching the tree. you watched a square section of it crack and crack with each punch until it shrank and landed on the ground. what astonished you though was the fact that despite a piece of the tree being cut out, the rest of it was floating.
