LOCATION
OCEANIC CUBE.

LIVING LIFE ON A SHIP was actually not too shabby. the food was cooked well, the crew members were actually very light-hearted and started to soften up to you and ranboo, you got to visit and take care of the animals, and some nights when most of the crew were awake, they'd keep you entertained with stories of mythical sea monsters and the supposed creation of the sea. when you had your first dinner with puffy, she went on to explain in depth about her situation with the flood and some unlikely events that happened to her crew.

from her words, there used to be a pretty advanced civilization until the random flood occurred, and puffy had no choice but to take as much as she can, grab a bunch of friends and their friends, and leave. now they were on a mission. their only purpose, according to puffy, was to get to the border and hope there was land there to start new civilization or perhaps even find an old one still intact. you never really know until you go. in terms of the cubes and other worlds outside that puffy could've escaped to, she nor the crew ever knew about it. well, that was a semi-lie.

from where puffy was from, she was able to watch soldiers be deployed into cube doors, transferring into other cubes as their job to survive and record information. it was a great strategy and the citizens got to learn a lot about the cubes. problem was they never got to step outside their own world themselves. only their government did, which was a bit unfair, especially to you and ranboo. you bet techno would have a lot to say about that too. but back to puffy's words- when the day finally came around as they decided to travel to the north side and found the north door, everyone was elated... that was until three crew members died from traps at the doors. everyone had to watch someone get their face literally burned off.

sad story but at least they all respawned safely. that one particular event made everyone scared to go outside from the cube and never speak of it again. some crew members who were new or lived at other civilizations didn't even know what the cubes were nor why there were doors in the what looked to be the sky. so yes, they were aware of cubes and other worlds in them, and they always hear the sounds of cubes shifting. did they know what lay outside of it? no. so when you presented your knowledge and research journal to puffy, she was utterly amazed. ranboo kind of realized the irony of the dinner: he could see puffy's surprise and your explanations to be mirroring when you first arrived at the syndicate's hideout. all in all though, puffy was glad to have you two on the ship, and especially found you important as you were a researcher. she now has proof of an outside world(s) existing besides a book she read in elementary school and watching her dad be deployed as a solider in the cubes.
