so what's happening in 2022? / an update on future books

ayo! i'm not leaving just yet. of course i'm still planning to write and there's certain content that's been coming to mind so here's what to expect hopefully coming up in a few months since my gosh i'm definitely taking a break after writing this book

i : yandere dsmp murder mystery
i've been hyping this one up a little recently so yeah i'm definitely gonna write this first. so far the plot structure is looking really good and i wanna continue adding details to it as i've also been researching true crime like almost everyday since last week (ie. listening to podcasts, obsessing over cases with my friend over the phone, watching full documentaries at like 12 am and feeling like someone's standing at my window lmao)

the reason why i don't consider this an x reader is because this is the first book where i'll use f/n (first name) instead of y/n. so in retrospect, you can think of it as an x reader since i'll still write in second person and f/n narrates some parts (kinda like a ghost talking to you and forcing you to see everything play out in their perspective) but for the most part, you can build your own main character for the story (very oc friendly if you ask me).

the story revolves around the main character's death and the plot will follow a timeline of events that led to f/n's murder, showing things like interactions and detailed accounts from different perspectives. some characters will end up falling for f/n but one of them is actually not liking them the way everyone else does. along the way, there will be evidence files and interrogation scenes to buildup potential suspects' innocence or guilt. by the end of the story, the real murderer will be revealed. in the mean time, do you think you can solve the case just by looking into different perspectives and character motives?

bonus: ocs from the empty throne will come back and new ocs, including one related to technoblade which i think you guys will simp for :)

ii : dsmp x high school au
i've discussed this idea very briefly so i'll put the simple details out there: this is not a yandere book. i wanted to at least have one book that strays away from yandere content but will still be an interesting read.

the events taking place will follow the dsmp lore but instead it's all being executed in a rundown high school and a high-crime neighborhood — obviously all fictional.

bonus: ocs from the murder mystery will make a comeback :)

idea iii : romance book in a dsmp fantasy au???
i've kind of thought of this idea very recently. like i said, i'm obviously very interested and experienced in the horror genre but i'd like to experiment. it proves how flexible my writing can be. so i kind of wanted to completely get away from all the obsessiveness and possessiveness of the yandere shit and actually write like a mamma mia-esque book.

obviously will be an x reader and fantasy au like gardener. this time, i will try (not even try will — won't spoil details tho) to have the reader be a butler. i've been seeing those comments on gardener trust me i grant wishes if you give me a chance to slip them in. i still don't know who the love interest will be. low key leaning towards dream but at the same time i also wanna write one with niki. her character would make a lot of sense if i did a niki x reader with this one. i will say this book will definitely be another emotional roller coaster though and the title (which i already got titles for all these books btw but i usually don't reveal them so they won't get stolen) is low key making me cry

bonus: new ocs that push the story along (including some non-binary and unlabeled ocs that haven't been showcased in any of my books yet), most characters will be humans but there's only a small number of different types of hybrids including angels and demons (I MADE TECHNO AND NIKI ANGELS AHAHSH), you're michael's caretaker and there's some wholesome scenes with the kid :)

let me know which idea sounds best and what peaks your interests! for reference, the murder mystery will come out first and then depending on which plot i continue writing, the high school au or the romance book will come out afterwards. i might write the high school au though since i know y'all would like that (including myself).
