LOCATION THE SMP.
IN YOUR OFFHAND, you kept a torch lit, lighting the way without having to waste much torches unless you felt like marking certain areas. usually, you'd do that with wool blocks, learning how to speed bridge from dream and getting up to high points within caves, knowing the trails of various dyed wool was from nobody but you.
you decided today was the day for mining, getting more lapis, red stone, and diamonds for keepsake and materials. you also took some buckets of water and lava, planning to obtain obsidian later on. you kept mining deeper and deeper. more mobs were getting in your way as you saw your y-coordinate at 12. you ended up having to craft a new shield without a problem. using the mlg skill, you decided to free dive down a pit that you couldn't see the bottom of, drinking a fire resistance potion in case there was lava you couldn't see from where you were. you got yourself ready for anything and let your legs propel you, jumping down with your legs first.
you were hoping maybe you'd reach another mineshaft or a spawner room, wanting to raid through chests or visit a desert or jungle temple. but you knew this is all you had for now. maybe you'd ask dream or someone later to lead you through other biomes outside the smp barriers. you could explore on your own but you didn't wanna go alone just in case. you knew everyone else knew everything about the environment than you did even though you were only brand new to this months ago.
once you saw some detailing from the ground, you kept motioning for your arms to fall down, letting it do so and spilling water that captured your fall. you felt your legs being hugged by moderately cold water, your movement becoming slowed. the light you radiated displayed nothing around you. you waited for a short moment and there it was: a skeleton shooting at arrow. it hit you, taking away only a heart and half of damage. you retaliated, leading it into the water to slow it down before killing it and collecting its remains, a worn out bow, an arrow, and some bones ending up in your inventory.
you sighed and collected the water, observing the area and walking around to hit bedrock. you decided to have a look around since diamond could be here, but you knew you'd have to tread carefully and climb back up. the sooner the better. as you were glancing around, your head turning side to side and sometimes behind you for anything prevalent nearby, you felt your foot hit a different material. you froze, realizing that you stepped on something that didn't sound like footsteps against cold stone. it sounded like.. metal.
your eyes slowly trailed down and your head faced the floor, seeing that you were indeed stepping on a weird metal. you crouched down and felt the metal graze your fingertips. it was certainly as cold and smooth as granite or quartz but it had this unique metallic shine. it reminded you of a vault door but it had no reflection on it. just a silver color. speaking of a vault door, there wasn't really a wheel on it to open it but it did have this handle sticking out of it. what is this? why is it here? you subconsciously questioned.
