IT WAS A MODERATELY WARM DAY, the climate at a constant loop like normal. bad invited you to go to a part of the smp that you haven't really been shown around since only certain people tend to go to those areas more often than others. sapnap must've forgot to show you the first time around since him and the dream team barely go there either.
you decided to accept the invitation, currently following bad down the path and taking a different turn within the community house. you were closer to more vibrant structures made of colored blocks and provided an area of mostly entertainment. so far, you passed by a big chessboard, a party area, and shrines according to bad. you eventually went down a very huge road that led into an empty acre of land, everything leveling out into asphalt-shaded blocks with yellow-dashed lines.
you were led into a red building lined with white detailing that read l'targay, making you quietly cackle. when you entered, the light dinging of the bell on top of the door sounded the area, revealing a grocery store with wide space and rainbow walls. bad explained to you earlier that someone named puffy uses it as a resource center—a way for everyone to trade with her for rather hard-to-obtain (but also common) items that puffy finds. you walked all the way down a long aisle until you were met with a white counter, a grey swinging door that reminded you of the bakery opening and revealing a new person with a charismatic smile on their face.
they wore simplistic black pants and a dark red button-up shown off with a purple cape draping their back. their hair was let down with extremely wavy locks that intertwined with one another, one side with light hazelnut brown hair and the other white. as their darkened brown boots pattered against the quartz floors, they quickly adjusted their black tricorn hat, the username captainpuffy hovering over their head. when they finally put their attention on you and bad, their eyes flickered between the two of you, smiling.
"oh hey bad! what brings you here?" she asked merrily, leaning on the counter and tapping her fingers on it. "hey puffy! i'd like some netherite please." bad ordered, reflecting a smile on his face as well. when he noticed that puffy's eyes trailed over to you, reading over your username with glossy eyes, he decided to jump in. "oh! this is y/n by the way. the new person you've probably heard about." he casually introduced.
