Chapter 15 - Operation: Clean House

'Master, are you worried about your meeting with Mister Gideon, today?' asked Sage in a concerned tone.

'No, I just realized I'm basically immortal and since you guys are bonded to me, you're also immortal...'

'kyu?' 'You just figured this out, damn, and here I thought you were smart, tsk, tsk, tsk,' said Regis

'I think Master is worried about watching his loved ones die and being all alone,' said Sage being the smart one in the group.

'Yeah, I mean I could give them the shaman's seal however I don't want to place the burden upon them...'

In an effort to cheer me up Sylvie began kyuu-ing affectionately while rubbing her head against my neck earning aww's from our two Xyrus guards. "We're here, Artificer Gideon's Workshop," announced Guard Mira. Knocking on the door we were promptly greeted by Himes, Gideon's personal butler. "You two please wait outside," I ordered the guards, who simply nodded at my request.

Walking through the workshop there were clothes, random sheets of metals, and tools lying all over. "HIMES! How many times must I tell you not to let... Oh, hello Vincent, how are you going to waste my time today?" Gideon asked.

"You act as if I didn't schedule a meeting with you, and besides my nephew Arthur, wanted to speak to you," Vincent said with tick marks on his forehead.

"Listen brat, I don't take apprentices nor do I care who your mommy or daddy is," Gideon said not even bothering to hide his annoyance.

"Fine by me, all I want to do is pitch my invention to you..."

"Ha! Invention!? Brat, tying two sticks together and painting them isn't an invention," Gideon mocked.

"*Sigh* Well then Uncle Vincent I guess I'll take my Hyperloop Project over to Dinkleberg, maybe he would be interested in a new mode of transportation capable of traveling at speeds upwards of 1200km/h," I said slowly walking towards the doors.

"Woah, Woah, Vincent is this true, does the kid really possess such knowledge?" Gideon asked taking the bait.

"Yes, he does," Uncle Vincent replied.

After a lengthy discussion with Gideon, we came up with a few conclusions

1) We will build the tunnel system using molds created by skilled earth magic users.

2) All rune work would be done by me or members of my soon to be formed Black Squad

i. Protection runes – placed on the outside of the tunnels which forms an invisible shield powered by ambient mana.

ii. Spatial Runes – You insert your ticket into an atm machine then load your luggage into a holding bin, then the atm which shrinks the luggage and sends it to be stored under the capsule. Once at your destination there will be several offloading stations where you can insert your ticket and collect your luggage.

3) There will be three types of capsules:

i. Passenger only{economy} – holds 2 suitcases per passenger and 1 carry one. Can seat 32 passengers. Also has a washroom at the front and another at the back.

ii. Passenger only {First class} – Hold 12 people

iii. Cargo type – can hold three pallets of goods.
