*Ring ring*

'Hello, Kaspian?' I answered.

'Mr. Havaca, I'm sorry for calling so late at night but there has been a situation. A group of adventurers had left for an A-rank dungeon yesterday and Lucas Wykes was the only one to make it back to the guild. I've sent you the information about the dungeon and Wykes' report; You are to kill the Elderwood and search for survivors,' Kaspian said.

'Don't you normally form teams of high-class adventurers for this kind of situation?'

'Normally, that would be the case but you prefer to work alone.'

'Ah, you know me so well. I'll call you as soon as kill the boss,' I said as I dashed off towards the dire tomb.

Entering the dungeon, a deep-seated hatred had erupted from within me. There were no mana signatures to indicate human life, while this is not a problem for me as I can rewind time, it pisses me off that Lucas is most likely going to get off scot-free.

*Crunch* Huh? Looking down I noticed that I stepping on a bone? Oh, if I remember correctly this should be that smug, overconfident Oliver. [Eyes of Anubis] Searching through his memories, I saw that the arrogant fool died the same way because he disobeyed orders. Using ruler's authority, I picked up the pieces of his skeleton and continued to the boss room. With the release of a deep breath, all the mist gathered in the room dispersed revealing a near 20-foot-tall amalgamation of vines forming a centaur-like being. 'Sylvie, leave one of my special kunai nearby and teleport to my location.' After modifying the hiraishin seal a bit, Sylvie can now use it to teleport to my location at any given time.

'Papa, I don't think you require my help with a beast that weak...'

'I don't, however, I want to use this to see how far you've come these past few years.'

'Very well, I shall prolong our fight' she said as I walked off to the side and conjured a chair and pulled out a chocolate bar in preparation for the fight. "Begin!" I shouted as Sylvie used dragon's stomp to cut some vines and disorient the Elderwood. The boss quickly recovered and tried to create more mist but Sylvie used dragon's breathe to force him on the defensive. Then using her earth magic she conjured several tall earth pillars to make it much more difficult for the boss to utilize his vines. *Crackle* Sylvie shot 6 lightning bolts towards the Elderwood but as long his core isn't damaged or depleted, he can regenerate. For the next 5 five minutes, Sylvie used the Elderwood Guardian as a training dummy to show off her mastery with all her spells. Pleased with what I saw I ended the beast's misery by ripping his core out of his body.

"Good job Syl, you've made great progress," I said proudly.

"Thanks, papa, but you could tell I was holding back, couldn't you?"

"Yup, I been alive a lot longer than you have so I tend to pick up on these things quite easily."

"Hmph, no fair," my little 2 storey tall dragon pouted.

'Notice: Skills Obliviate and Rescribo have been successfully created,' Sage informed.

"Alright Syl, you can head back now. I don't want you to see the next part."

"Okay, I'm very close to finding the phoenix clan," Sylvie said right before teleporting out of the cave.

Now then, I should get started with Lucas' downfall.

[Dragon Eyes: True Sight] Using this ability I can see the world in a wireframe view making it easy to find any hidden traps or in this case corpses. [Ruler's Authority] Using this skill I easily moved any debris that covered the corpses and lined them up alongside Oliver's skeleton.
